The chicken is delicious.. but this visit I tried something different.. I tried the super potato with asada meat, bacon and cheese.. 😋😋.. Ive been coming here for a while now and before it used to just be chicken but they have expanded their menu to alot more now.. Definitely would recommend this place..
This was the first time for us to eat at Pollos El Gallo. The building itself has character and blends in with the smokehouse restaurant. As one enters, there is playground equipment/area for the kids. Dining area capacity inside is smaller than structure appears to indicate. Outside dining at least doubles the numbers of diners the restaurant can accommodate. Since we planned to take out, as well as dine in, we ordered a full chicken which included 2 sides x 2 ($16.95) and 1/2 pound of Beef Fajitas with 2 sides ($18.95). Their Sides of Beans and Rice had their distinct seasoned tastes. A variety of peppers and onions laced the food tray. One (maybe all) of the peppers was too hot to handle. A slice of fried cactus added to the menu item. The food was good & tasty. Staff was nice and helpful. We enjoyed our dining experience.

Was in the mood for some Pollos Asados, so stopped by on a Tuesday evening. I usually go to some of the more popular places, but wanted to give this place a try. Since it was a Tuesday, it wasn't crowded and sat at one of the 6 tables outside near the playground. You order everything at the register inside, but they bring the food out to you.
Ordered the full chicken which came with 2 rice, 2 beans, 6 tortillas, grilled onions, grilled jalapeno. Also, ordered a sausage. The young lady working the register also was bringing the food out, getting drink refills, and cleaning tables. She did a great job of doing several jobs.
Food came out within 10 minutes and looked great. The chicken tasted great as it had a nice crisp char on the outside while still juicy on the inside. The sides were ok, but my main focus is the chicken at these places. The sausage was good, but I still preferred the chicken. They had 3 different salsas with varying amounts of heat that went great with the meats. Quickly went through 6 tortillas, but you can order more for next to nothing. Will definitely come back when wanting some Pollos Asados in this area.
If your looking for Mexican barbecue then this is the spot. It’s charred chicken was moist. The chili was delicious there are three kinds. The potatoes is more like a German mashed potato which is good with cheese asada and bacon. It was satisfying.
Absolutely amazingly delicious we had the half chicken and a super baked potato the salsa is equally amazing and let me tell you I am picky eater this place deserves 10 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great Pollo Asado & inexpensive. Jalapeno poppers are big with thick bacon. Kid friendly (small play ground) & BYOB! Yes, they let you bring in your beer since they don't sell. Will definitely return!
My son and I love the food here. It's a nice change from area fast food. Chicken is great. I absolutely love the twice baked potatoes with cheese. Need to try the fajitas and short ribs next. They look wonderful.
Excellent chicken! The best lemonade! Great service.
Always good food, but last night there was a sewer smell that was really bad. Thank goodness we had finished our meal. They have the tastiest green salsa and amazing short ribs.
