First time here at this Souper Salad and it was a good experience. Food was great, and the staff was excellent, from the cashier, to the guy behind the food, and our server... Everyone was awesome! The place was clean and the decor was pretty nice inside. I didn't like the chili, it was really salty for my taste. Eating the chili was equivalent to licking a salt lick. But, other than the chili everything else was pretty darn good and I would recommend this place. So, would I revisit this Souper Salad... Yes I would.

With the COVID 19 situation, Souper Salad has succeeded in bringing back the Buffet. Salad is fresh, the staff assist you in getting your items, and you get to enjoy all you can eat. There is always a great selection at Souper salad. The ground beef on your salad makes the best taco salad. And the vegetable soup takes like homemade. For people who like more than the basic salad, this is the place.
If you like salads, soups and dessert in a buffet style atmosphere, this is a perfect place for you. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because some of the kitchen staff do not care about the presentation of how they put things out. Hint they could be cleaner. Other than that everything is fresh and taste good. Staff is friendly.
The service here is amazing ! Our server was so consistent and sweet ! I love having so many different options . They even have Asian inspired options now . Wonderful food for a great price . It is a favorite place to have dinner with my mom .
I loved all the food options to make your own salad. They have soups, baked potatoes, different kinds of bread, shell tacos, pizza, and ice cream as well. It was a very relaxing place.
Love this place for the salads and bread sticks, bake potatoes were luke warm! Ice cream was watery !
My one go place for great salads and soups! The food is great and the customer service is also great. Only wish there were more locations. This is the only location in San Antonio.
I didn't have very high expectations before I went in, but overall it's a pretty decent and healthy option, and I enjoyed myself for the most part. The woman at the cashier did little to offer up any explanation, and was way too quiet for me to hear, leading to a somewhat awkward interaction. However it ended up being self-explanatory, so I suppose I can't really blame her. The food seemed to be fresh and most of it was decent tasting. The location was clean and not extremely busy for lunchtime on a Saturday. Ultimately, a decent, affordable, and plentiful meal with lots of vegetarian options.
I really loved the food and the staff was friendly. My only problem from given them 5 stars is the restrooms, the lady kept coming to our table to see how we were, but honestly, we get it our selves, so if they would pay more attention to the restrooms and keeping them tidy. Though I don't understand why customers can't act like it is their house and if they treat their house that way dear Lord, help them.
I enjoyed my time here. The waitress that kept checking on me & my friend made herself very available. She was very pleasant. The cashier at the entrance also deserves kudos. He was helpful, patient & informative. Other employees were continuously working at maintaining the restaurant. Every interaction we had with employees was very very good. Every food station appeared pristine. The ONLY negative imo is the taste of the pepperoni pizza. I can't figure out why it didn't taste good at all. Everything else was fine. I'll go back for sure.
