I had a wonderful experience. They're fast they're clean the food was great! I had an avocado on rye BLT it was great! We also had a side of green beans, they were very fresh fresh tomatoes. Absolutely outstanding. A great price too I'll be back soon thanks Baldys.
Had my reservations about putting good review. Because word of mouth is making this place super crowded. But decided , maybe back room will be ok. Food , Service , best around 30 mile radius maybe more. meal comes out very fast and all at once. Price lower than most : don't tell baldy:
This little place in Adkins has been 2 or 3 different restaurants over the years, and I think it finally got one to stick, and that is Baldy's. He calls it a Classic American Diner, and that's just what it is. Classic American, right down to the Muscle Pickup parked out front.
Salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood, a little South of the Border, and the Worlds Best Breakfast's. Lots of desserts, great Milkshakes, and a VERY kid friendly menu. (Probably should'a kept that a secret. Now we'll get mobbed by the munchkins)
Prices are some of the best in the city, parking's easy, and the waitresses are always smiling and use the word "darlin'" a lot. I love that.
We eat here every Sunday after church, and he always has a breakfast special that's so big it will pretty much make you useless for the rest of the afternoon. Honey-do's will just have to wait. If the Worlds Best Breakfast doesn't make you leave here fat and happy, there's just no pleasing you.
We went there for the biscuits and gravy and weren’t disappointed. Biscuits were great and the gravy was good. Big portions with everything and the home fries were cooked with fresh vegetables. Service was great, definitely worthy of 5 stars by itself.
I loved the chicken salad! The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The veggies were fresh and the ranch was homemade. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was also very well seasoned. I would skip on the mashed potatoes next time because they are instant. But that’s just a personal preference. I loved the experience! I can’t wait to go back
Brought a group of about 10 after church on a Sunday. We were quickly accommodated. Our server was delightful and had a fun and generous spirit. Highlight of the meal.... The strawberry shortcake!!! Beautiful presentation and even better taste. I'm going back on my own just for the cake!

These staff treat you like family each and everytime and are happy to accommodate any requests to dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner because they put their hearts into the food and work. Family owned spot with very generous portions and true American style meals. Atmosphere is excellent for a laid back and relaxing meal, would absolutely go back and recommend to friends, family, and new locals.
Classic American comfort food. Small town diner atmosphere. Breakfast is served all day. Portions are generous so go hungry. Price is great. Service was sweet and bubbly, exactly what I needed with my coffee.
The food is great. Like a homemade burger and fries. Maybe it was because the fries were fresh, they seemed to stay hot longer so I was able to enjoy them with my burger. Just watch the door threshold, it's easy to trip.
Took my dad here for his birthday he's the big 80 now. The girls were so sweet. When they found out it was his birthday, they brought out a yummy slice of cake a scoop of ice cream and even sang Happy Birthday to him. It was very special. Thank you all for the extra touch, it meant a lot!!
Really good. Will change to 5 stars based on my second visit and trying something else. The strawberry compote on the French toast was really good. The hash browns and eggs were cooked just how I like them. The person I was with loved the Big Nasty plate. Great prices and service. Will definitely be back.
