The food here is okay. I recommend sticking to one of their more popular dishes. The wait staffcan usually help with this decision. The service was good but it seemed a little hurried. I am sure they are less busy with a smaller crowd. The portions were average size. The location seems used, but well taken care of. Ultimately I would recommend this establishment. There are better places out there though.
This is the original Taco Cabana. While cool, that doesn't make this location any better or worse taste wise. The food is exactly the same as any other location including the dozen flavor of margaritas for $3. The interior dining area is so spacious it feels empty. The area where you order is sectioned off in another room and is tiny so you may have to wait in the dining area before ordering. The salsa bar is almost hidden in that area. Drive thru is available and there is plenty of parking.
If I remember correctly, this is the first ever Taco Cabana in the chain of many across south, central, and east Texas and so for that, we rate 5 stars for keeping the original location in tact. Taco Cabana as a whole has been a staple of our our visits since moving away as a young adult. Always good food and always worth the visit.
In town to see friends and they took us here for margaritas. It was happy hour, so what a great deal. Margaritas were good, especially for the price. I've eaten here before and food is good, so, so much better than other fast food "Mexican" places.
It’s Taco Cabana one of if not the best fast food Tex Mex place. Always gotta stop by. Food is delicious, adult beverages great. This one iconic for being the first in the area.
Great food, great service, they even serve beer and shots of Tito's. Thank you so much Alexander for being awesome. The reason for the 4 stars is the inconvenient placement of the bathrooms. For the men's room you have to exit the store and walk around back to a tiny storage closet like mens room. They should think of making a small addition for better restrooms. Other than that everything was awesome.
This place really rocks wtih their SERVICE, MENU, FRIENDLINESS, AND MOST OF ALL THEIR MARGARITAS!!!!
Without fail i drive up at least once a week for my margaritas.

I'm super late about this, but I just need to say bring attention to Yesenia and the staff at location 101. I came into order a very specific and big order for a vip client and their crew who was performing in town on September 14th. We pride ourselves in getting everything perfect for the clients and Yesenia took charge and executed the entire order fabulously. She made sure every single detail was handled down to labeling & packaged up the entire order to be loaded right onto the tour busses. The crew was very happy which made for a smooth load out for my otherwise chaotic evening and I will absolutely trust her and her staff with future orders for the theater. I'll also add, that her customer service is what pulled me from ordering from the initial location I'd chosen. When I realized they may not take the care I needed, I called 101. The minute I heard the confidence Yesenia had and willingness to make it happen with care, I immediately left that location and headed to her store. I do not regret it. Congratulations TC on this team member and her crew that was a great choice in management!
