Lots of parking, no wifi, great and friendly service. Yaya's Thai restaurant is kid's friendly and large enough to accommodate large groups. The kids loved the cheese spring rolls and the shrimp in coconut. First we were served an egg soup (creamy egg yolk flavour thick and rich with shredded omelet). The shrimp coconut was delicious, a little oily but sweet, coconuty and delicious.
The special of the day, fried tofu and bok choy was a little salty, but needed since the tofu was blend. The bok choy were delicious, still a little salty. I mixed the rice in the remaining sauce and the salty taste was gone and again.... delicious.
The green curry was interesting with cucumbers and bamboo shoots. Spicy for some, but I enjoyed it.
I would go there again just for the shrimp and coconut appetiser.
Pad Thai again. Was decent. Had beef with medium spice. Noodles were only slightly over cooked and sauce was present but not too heavy. Would definitely get it again.
Spring roll was more crisp than filling and was meh.
Wonderful. Driving by, it doesnt look like anything special, but the place is beautiful inside, sooo comfortable, the staff is awesome and the food is even better!
Always fabulous! Very very fresh ingredients. Everything I've tried has been excellent. Waitstaff is wonderful as well! If you haven't been yet-try it soon!!!!
My favorite Thai restaurant!!. Hands down, best in town! I've checked out several Thai restaurants here in town and Yaya's takes the cake!
Very personable and friendly staff! Tanya, Oi, and Yaya herself are awesome women and I am pleased to give them my frequent business!
Their chef knows his way around the kitchen. I've tried several items and have enjoyed every last one of them! If you are short on time, you can run in, order a quick lunch, you're served a delicious soup of the day and your meal arrives quickly. The place is clean and offers a very nice ambiance! I come here at least once a week, and I'm not afraid to admit it, there have been a few weeks I come 5-6 times a week!
These folks work very hard and take great care in their food, flavor, presentation and all around experience....you can taste it in every bite!
There is nothing wrong with being predictable, especially for lunch specials. You've got a limited amount of time and you want to make sure that your lunch hour is not wasted.
In the Medical Center area, Yaya's on Callaghan is right on target. Place your order from the long list of lunch specials and in less than 5" your soup is served -- and it's good soup, too -- a clear broth with a bright flavor of lemongrass and a hint of scallion. There is a large helping of rice at the bottom of the bowl, too. The standards are offered and can include chicken, pork, beef, tofu or shrimp (shrimp is extra). All lunch orders include tea and the obligatory spring roll. The restaurant is spacious, pleasant and the service is prompt and friendly.
Our first time and we will be back. Everything was wonderfully fresh. Thai basil with tofu was great!
Fantastic Green Curry, fresh rolls and homemade coconut ice cream!
Wonderfully addictive. I am a travel nurse who is motivated/drawn to new places by the quality of the food it offers. I stumbled upon this place, Yaya's, about two months ago. I now enjoy the Panang curry w/ beef at least one a week. This dish is amazing!! I have not tried anything else on the menu, yet. Also, there is a nice waitress named Tonya who always greets me with a smile. I am trying to get up the courage to try another dish; but, Why? The Panang Curry is Wonderful and addictive! A MUST TRY
Best Tom kha ever! Delish. The ambience is great, too! The portions are huge. I can't wait to come back!
Good choice of tasty 😋 food. All the dishes which we ordered was yummy. I really encourage every one try potato soup 🥣 and fried rice entree. Will come back. Loving from Dallas

I highly recommend trying the
Drunken Noodle Chicken hot 🔥
A really nice place, went for dinner on a Saturday night and it wasn’t busy at all. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out quick and was good too. The only downside was that the bathrooms need repairs otherwise a really nice place.
Great lunch!! Fantastic service. Had the chicken eggrolls and chicken cashew. Along with hot and sour soup. Everything was great tasting. Will be coming back. Huge lunch portions
Very delicious potato soup, egg rolls and fried rice . Highly recommended. Staff is very courteous and we got quick service. Enjoyed the food.
Amazing and sumptuous food! Lovely presentations. Have been here several times and not disappointed even once. They have the best sticky rice and mango in town ! The noodle soup is so flavourful ! The Green curry has been our favorite 😍
A good place to eat and have quick lunch. Their staff is knowledgeable and cooperative. Maintain cleanliness in restaurant. Right now they appear to be short staffed and the service is slower than usual. The food quality and taste is very good. They are located in a small market with very limited parking space. Sometimes the parking can be challenging during rush hours.
My boyfriend and I decided to eat at this restaurant without knowing much about it. When we walked in, there weren't very many people seated. We were told to pick our seat so we did.
It did take some time to place our drink order. I later overheard the woman serving everyone that she was the only one helping customers.
My boyfriend and I were debating between appetizers. We picked the vegetable egg rolls so we were surprised to receive the spicy edamame. I didn't want to send the food back so we kept that appetizer instead. If you like or love spicy foods, you must try this appetizer. The sauce was spicy but not so spicy it couldn't be eaten. It also had flavor to it. We ate the whole bowl!
We then received our entrees. I wanted a similar base to the Pad Thai but I didn't want to eat the usual so I ordered the Thai Chicken Peanut. The sauce is on the sweeter side but I enjoyed it. The chicken was sliced in thinner pieces and was accompanied by white vermicelli noodles and vegetables. I added some hot sauce and it balanced out the sweetness of the peanut sauce. I absolutely enjoyed this dish.
We were also given our original appetizer order at no charge. She also apologized for the mix up. I appreciated the gesture!
Love the peanut sauce. Tried the fried dumplings, lettuce wraps and the healthy soup. Delicious, hot and great service.
I got the Thai Sweet & Sour Lunch Special. Food was good, servers were nice and the food came oit pretty quick, I would definitely come back and recommend this place 👍
