Accommodated my party of 20 family members hostess was awesome the one with pretty blue turquoise hair super nice and our waiter daniel was great too took care of all our nonstop crazy needs lol but seriously excellent service and food thanks
This is my spot for Mexican food!! I work at fort Sam and they take pride in their food when I Uber Eats to deliver. Everything is fresh and made clean. Personal favorite is the green enchiladas.
Had visited two Missions and needed some place for a quick lunch. Did a search & Nicha’s came up and it was perfect. Food was delicious & served quickly, salsa was really flavorful, drinks were refreshing! Went on to visit the last two Missions feeling very satisfied.
Great place for any type of party will accommodate large parties. Love the foods everything is fresh. Open daily expect Sunday. Friendly employees. Very clean.
Our server Jimmy was great! Quick and attentive, very good with the 2 toddlers with our party of 7. Food came quickly and was delicious. Next time we are in town we will definitely be back!
We ate there twice in just a few days. My only regret as I ate 2 tasty breakfast tacos is that we were too early for the weekend brunch buffet which was being set up & looked delicious but we needed to get on the road as we had a long drive ahead of us that day. If we’d found this place earlier we’d have eaten there more. It was reasonably priced & the wait staff was friendly as well as very good with descriptions of some of the more uncommon options available.
Another great meal at Nicha's on 410! The chips and salsa before the meal are a great starter.
The Dads plate is a winner, with delicious cheese enchiladas and tender beef fajitas. The tortillas are fluffy and tasty, with a nice flavor and feel.
The botana platter makes a good meal if you're in the mood for appetizer type food. The side of queso is a nice compliment to the chips and the beef and chicken nachos. The flautas are crunchy and nicely filled with chicken. The beef empanadas are deep fried so expect to have greasy hands after eating them, but they are worth the extra napkins.
The drinks are exceptional for the price. Today's special was $4 bloody Mary's and well worth it.
Overall, a frat go to place for consistently good Mexican food and a nice festive atmosphere.
This completes my reviews of restaurants from a business trip to San Antonio. I had dinner with a number of work friends at Nicha’s 14 April 2015. The place was recommended by one of the guys on the trip. I had Carne Guisada, and it was very, very good. I do not like my food to be super spicy, and the guisada had just the right amount of bite. I thought the portion size was a little on the small side, but it wasn’t so small I was hungry later. The iced tea was very good. Service was on the slow side, but we weren’t in any hurry, so that wasn’t an issue. My check was about $14.00.
Probably one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I usually get the cheese enchiladas. The chicken tortilla soup is ok, not the best. They got good mixed drinks also.
Good food and atmosphere. Drinks are good, but a little overpriced. The chamoy mango margarita is good, but close to $10. The nachos are really good and they give you lots of melted cheese and beans. You can even make more nachos out of it with the fee chips. The taco salad was not that great. It was a simple salad and may have needed more condiments for taste. The plate that comes with three different enchiladas was scrumptious.
When I am San Antonio for work, I always pass by Nicha's. After a friend in town mentioned that they liked it, I decided to give it a shot. And while I would not rate Nicha's as my favorite San Antonio spot (Tito's gets that honor), I will definitely be back. I had three tacos ala carte and they were all solid. The fajita taco was especially good. Flavorful and tender steak. I also had carne guisada which was perfect, and a bean and cheese taco. The only thing I had that wasn't top notch was the pico de gayo. It was a little bland. The tortillas were especially good- the kind that leave a little flour on your hands afterwards. Now I have a place on this side of town!
Love coming to this restaurant! Every enchilada plate we’ve had here is excellent. The chicken and beef fajita plate was superb. They gave me free sopapillas to celebrate my birthday. Love the atmosphere. Our waiter was spit on. Definitely check this restaurant out when you come to San Antonio!
The puffy tacos here are ACE!!! I order mine differently than most people... I get beans, cheese, and lettuce on them. My waiter, Angel, took my order and they were prepared and served perfectly. Angel then told me he had a puffy taco just like mine, and loved it! Great atmosphere, with scrumptious food and stupendous service. Highly recommended!!!
Very good experience at this restaurant. First time going. Good size parking lot clean inside medium size with a bar and some TVs. A lot of Mexican items on the walls. Food good at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and attentive. Had a very good time there with family, good experience 👍.
Best Mexican food on the Northwest side, probably all of San Antonio. Generous portions and affordable prices considering the high-quality ingredients and spices. Fantastic drinks and cocktails too! Very welcoming and friendly service as well.
We went for my mother in law’s birthday. It wasn’t too busy but we did have to wait as we did have a larger party. The service was very good. The food was absolutely amazing. I loved the street tacos. My husband enjoyed his enchilada plate and my daughter tried the chicken quesadilla. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some good texmex. We will definitely be coming back. My husbands giant beer was only $6.99 which is a great deal as well. 10/10.
Breakfast all-day...WHAT?...great tortillas...try the carne guisada... great flavor choices for margaritas AND a happy hour! The staff is always great and the food is always great as well. I have had appetizers and cocktails on more than one occasion for dinner... THATS a dinner lol
The food and service were good. I went there on a Saturday night. It was pretty busy. I take it that means people really like the place. Be prepared to park at a neighboring parking lot if you arrive at peak times.
Everything was 10/10 here! Enjoyed our stop from start to finish. Even with the short staff, we were seated quickly, had our order taken, drinks made, and appetizers on the table within 5 minutes. The food was delicious and hot. It was made to order instead of sitting in the back waiting to be microwaved. The margarita flight is a fun sampling of their margaritas; all tasted great. Service, food, cleanliness was top tier. We will be back!

GOOD GRIEF!!! The food in this restaurant is great. I've been to a few Mexican restaurants and I like this one best. I avoid Mexican food because it all tastes the same to me, but not this restaurant.
We started with an appetizer. It has a cheesy dipping sauce, thin crispy tacitos and quesida filled with chorizo. You can see it in the pics. I ordered the Caldo de rez and it was big. I expected a large bowl, but this one was LARGE! It could easily feed three people. It was a fight to the end and of course... I took some home😆. I had no chance of winning. My wife ate the soup with a crispy taco on the side. The boys ate tacos and they enjoyed the food. We ordered three drinks with our food. The drinks were okay. We all enjoyed our meal. Delicious.

Mariachis were jammin'. Man, it made the atmosphere genuine. We ask for one song and only one song. $20.00! Yup. One song was $20.00! I could not believe it. Inflation I guess? We're grateful for the performance 👏. The couple near us played SEVEN songs. What the heck!!! You can do the math on that.
Really enjoyed this place food was delicious and plates were huge and satisfying. Drink was really good and just the whole atmosphere and service we received was great. Definitely will be back!!
