Stumbled in off the river walk looking for a place to get some pizza. Just shared the three cheese pizza with my husband over some beers. Enjoyable! Service was a little lacking, mostly just on the slower and less attentive side.
Awesome food. Great service. Amazing tirimisu. Rome was our server- he made it a wonderful experience. We went with his recommendations. We highly recommend Micelino's.

Michelino's Review. Me and some friends were wanting to eat Italian food for lunch by the Riverwalk. We happened to stop by Michelino's, perusing the menu for something good. We liked what we saw, so we decided to take the plunge into a good Italian meal. We were seated rather quickly, being a party of six, at the end of the patio outside. It was a good place to be seated in my opinion, though there was no view into the kitchen. After we were seated, it took a few extra minutes than expected for the waiter/waitress to arrive, and we started to get bothered. A waitress walked up and let us know that our waiter would be there in a moment, and apologized for the wait. Feeling a bit more satisfied by the reassurance, I expected our waiter to arrive in less than two minutes. Five minutes later, the waitress comes back to us, and tells us that the waiter was coming, but she was going to take our drink order. On her way out, the waiter that was to serve us, told the waitress to take our table, because of some reason. I was rather agitated by this lack of organization and communication amongst the staff. The number one rule is to never compromise the customer satisfaction because of lack of communication or organization. So the waitress had apparently been switched from the ground level to the patio without her knowledge. Soon after that dilemma, the waitress came back with our drinks, and took our order. The waitress was exceptionally down-to-earth and made me and my party feel at home with a disarming smile. I ordered the Farfalle Con Pollo E Gorgonzola. When my order got to me, it was prepared nicely. The lip of the plate was clean for presentation, and was decorated with basil pieces. The meal consisted of fresh cut carrots, sun-dried tomatoes, grilled chicken, Gorgonzola chunks and sauce, and the bow-tie pasta. When I took my first bite, my mouth had a new experience. It was a smooth texture, followed by the creamy, yet sharp taste of the Gorgonzola, sided with the fresh kick of the carrot amongst the subtle flavor of the tomato. It was exquisite. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly, and wished I could finish the meal, but found that the meal was more than I could eat, all for a good price. My drink was never empty, and my colleagues enjoyed themselves greatly. I recommend the meal I ordered to the cheese connoisseur, because the Gorgonzola is for the acquired taste in order to enjoy the meal to the fullest extent. I give Michelino's my approval for Service, Quality, and Atmosphere. But I must recommend to the staff there, that they MUST be more organized, consistent, and maintain good communication amongst their employees.

Economical! Large portions! Shrimp scampi is delicious and enough for two. Pizzas are enough for two! Location is cool with most coming from fans.
Great Scenery w/ tasty food!. This place was where I took my wife on our first date in 2001. I proposed to her on the bridge in plain view of this restaurant! Since then this has been a special place for us. We'll always stop by and at least share a tiramisu dessert. It is the size of a cake and maybe the best in town. The food there is very good but not exactly authentic italian. Wherever you sit outside you will enjoy a full view of the riverwalk and it's night-life. The riverwalk is a very lively place and if you want to eat italian on the riverwalk then this is the place for you. We've eaten at other italian eateries on the riverwalk and this one is the best by far and reasonably priced when compared to the competetion.
We came at a great time when the restaurant wasn't busy. We were seated and served our drinks quickly. The atmosphere was relaxing with background music for you to enjoy.

We were seated really fast. Our server was very busy as we observed him take several orders like 4 other tables right after he took our. However, the service and food was great. Right on the Riverwalk, this place definitely delivered. Yummy food, good views/location and friendly staff.
Great food and very friendly service right on the river walk. We came when they weren't busy and were seated right away. Our food came quickly. They had a Mariachi band. We really enjoyed it.
Very good for the price! They offered lunch menu specials on Saturday when we went, and the prices for that were great! $6,7 ish an entree. Even heard them offering it when we were leaving at around 3 ish.
Lemonade was good, nice and sweet, and the view is good for just sipping a drink and relaxing. The outside seating is shaded and having a cool drink in hand let's you sit and enjoy the riverwalk without dying of heat exhaustion.
Loved the sauces for the chicken Alfredo and Angel hair. The chicken was very fresh and well seasoned. The seafood in the Angel hair was also very fresh, especially the shrimp.
Wait time for being seated was near instant, but getting orders and food probably took about 10, 15 minutes each. Place feels a little understaffed at the moment, but our server Kenia(?) Was very attentive and quick on asking if we needed more drinks, etc.
Would definitely go again!

The food was fabulous from the warm bread to the amazing Pollo Sugo Bianco topped off with a very cold Guiness.
I was able to get a great seat overlooking the riverwalk....what a fantastic little food journey.

This is our 2nd or 3rd time here. It wasn't crowded probably due to weather. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We both ordered pasta and it was delish. Cooked well and flavored perfectly. I got the shrimp scampi and it's great of you love zesty lemon dishes as I do.
Right on the riverwalk, this place was magical with it's food. The lunch specials are superbly priced and great portions. The food is to die for, it's delicious. When the server came to the table to deliver the meal, there was a BLOCK of cheese to grate over the pasta. It was so delicious. I highly recommend the garlic cream sauce if traditional tomato sauce gives you avoid reflux like me.
Awesome experience. Do try this restaurant if you want to enjoy authentic italian cuisine in san antanio. Bit expensive but worth it.

We were sited inside but we had a view of the River, so we had the best of both worlds. They served the yummiest pasta, and the garlic bread was to die for. We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant.
My chicken Alfredo was excellent.
They served 90 Senior Citizens and maybe should have had more servers. Some had lukewarm meals at best and one received a frozen meatball and couldn't get server's attention.
