I like this place! It’s well located, with plenty parking spaces and good service, I just wished it was bigger, they could use more space to sit more people. This time I had to do some work so I came here and I got my new favorite drink for the fall: Berry Cobbler Matcha! Not only is delicious, it is so beautiful!!! Feels like art in your mouth! You have to try it!!
Merit is great. I love the coffee and breakfast snacks. Word is out though because the tables fill up fast! If you’re looking for a place to work or study, arrive early to claim your spot.
Merit Coffee House is a great place to go if you’re looking for a chill place to work on projects, hang out with friends or just go by yourself like I did to enjoy a delicious cold brew! Ariana was so nice and open to making me a surprise flavored cold brew and it was a 10/10!

Vibe- This is a cool coffee shop that sits in a shopping center. There’s some seats outside and a good amount of seating inside.
Customer service- The best! All of the baristas were very welcoming and kind :)
Food/drinks- I got a hot matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender and it was literally one of the best matchas I’ve had (and I’ve been to over 50 coffee shops with matcha)!!
Parking- There’s spots in the lot but you have to pay attention because some of them say reserved for office.
Merit Coffee makes a great first impression, to start the place was packed with students, remote workers, good conversations, and an amazing aroma. The staff was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our iced Coffee was prepared quickly and was pretty darn good and left us wanting more!! We will definitely be back to try out other selections and maybe some of their food options. 😁 p.s The restrooms were super clean and there is tons of seating indoors and out!
Got a small lavender latte. It was good but a little too sweet for me (I should have specified). The large latte is 4 shots of espresso!!! The Cafe itself is hip and industrial looking with lots of young people. You can get fresh beans here and they'll grind it for you if you want. I bought a bag to bring home to see how it compares with my local coffee roasters and will amend this review.
Always my absolute favorite place to come. Sign up for the free rewards!!! Get a point per transaction and it only takes 15 points to get a drink. Places like Starbucks give you a free drink per 150 points. 😮💨 best espresso out of any local place in San Antonio so far.
Dropped in to grab an iced latte with my partner - we ordered iced vanilla lattes with the preference of one having Oatmilk.
The coffee taste is amazing and bold.
Great coffee shop. I've always been a fan of merit coffee, especially their cold brew. The stone oak location provided a great place to study or get work done. Good amount of tables with plugs nearby. Also love their merch.
What a super relaxed vibe! First time trying Merit was definitely a success! Vanilla latte was super smooth and the bacon egg croissant was to die for!! Also have custom merch you can purchase! Great environment to relax and try to get some work done! Can be a bit hard to find seating at some times but there are also outside tables!
