I remember when we used to stand in line at their old location!! This beautiful restaurant no longer is the lil hole in the wall it once was but it continues to be the best Mexican Restaurant I know! U won't go wrong with any menu item!
We just love this place! Luce is the best bartender! Super friendly, pleasant to chat with, and knows how to make a fantastic drink! The food is great too! We’ve been coming here for years and will return again and again.
Loved it! Our server Ernesto was amazing. His manager was amazing. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Their food was fantastic. My husband loved their flour tortillas and trio drinks. The ice cream nachos were so good the combination was wonderful! I wished I wasn't so full so i could have more. I honestly recommend this place way better than other places we've been to. I'll be letting my family and friends know where to go when they come to San Antonio, and if you're looking for a new place, have mexican food. I would definitely recommend going here! Don't forget to order a Mexican coke 👌🏼
I can easily say that it was the best Mexican food that I have had. First, I went there during lunchtime, and it was packed. I had to wait for 45 mins to get a table. Second, the waitress was very sweet, but since the place was so busy, the service was slow.
I have one complaint, tho. My food had beans in a bowl, and after I had asked, they told me that there's bacon it. I strictly stay away from pork due to religious reasons. They should definitely warn customers before serving them bacon without their consent. Thankfully, I was cautious and sent that bowl back.
First time eating here and was impressed. Food was good, salsa was great (a roasted warm salsa). Restaurant was semi-busy, but we had some waits for food, tortillas, drink refills, which detracted a little from the whole experience.
The food was good, everything I ordered had good flavor and was prepared great. Food didnt take overly long to come out despite a medium crowd of people.
I tried the enchilada plate with crispy taco and fajita. The menu was interesting because it referred to the crispy taco and fajita as sides to the enchilada combo plate.
Overall I wouldn't hesitate to go back, the service was probably the biggest problem, and it was just slow.
The menu had multiple plates of authentic Mexican cuisines. Prices were very reasonable. Service was superb. Waiting time was less than 20 seconds for a table. My friend was in a wheelchair so we had a great place to be seated. Will surely return. Thanks for the experience of your restaurant.
First time customer and was very impressed with Cassy as our wait staff. She had recommendations that were spot on. Wife had Chicken Mole dinner and I had cheese enchiladas with carne guisada on top. Both were awesome and the queso flamedo was a treat to start. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu just not all at once!!!!
Met a group of friends I hadn’t seen in forever here. The place was packed upon arrival and then all the parties and people left while we were waiting. I guess it was the rush hour. We didn’t wait long and the menu had a good selection of stuff. I ordered the Texas burrito with chicken. Our server Cassie was great. She was patient and attentive. Food was good. This place has an inviting feel. It seems like a lot of people enjoy this place and I did as well.
Just had a great breakfast / lunch at Panchitos. We had Menudo, enchiladas, chilaquiles, and chorizo all la Mexicana. Everything was delicious, but there was a wait to be seated so if they offer, call ahead, do it. The restaurant was clean, well staffed, and they were polite and professional.
So first off, want to say Chris was a fantastic server. As soon as we sat down we had waters and a few minutes after that drinks. I was kind of blown away by how fast we were served to be honest. Not in the sense we were rushed. I just know he was busy on a Friday night, but he could've fooled me with how quick he was.
Food was also pretty dang good. I got the steak fajitas, spicy marg and queso. My colleague got the chicken puffy tacos. Tortillas were amazing and the steak was tender. I'm a veggie gal so I do wish the fajitas had more pepper and onion, but you get plenty of steak so that was definitely worth the price point.
What confused me though was the prices for queso, shredded cheese and sour cream. $2 for a dollop of sour cream and almost $9 for the same cup size of queso? Maybe I can justify the queso (which was just the house one not the one with added guac or pico) but $2 for sour cream and $1.59 for some shredded cheese was kind of wild.
Overall great experience and would recommend.
Just happened to drive by this place and said lets try it out. We loved it. The service was great , the food was very good. We were shocked that we have never heard of this place. Like for real. I had some super stuffed deluxe Tacos that had a combination of items that mixed well together. I also enjoyed the chips and chorizo bean dip. They have some good cinnamon coffee. A must try. The restaurant is very nice inside and can't wait to go back for some dinner and drinks
We got a new employee that was in training. Think he's name was Alejandro. He did a amazing job. Very attentive. Food was delicious
