Absolutely phenomenal; food, drinks, & service. The food was on point as well as our drinks. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Our waitress (Missy) was knowledgeable, polite, quick yet detailed, and gave great recommendations. This is the place to be on a Sunday!
I just got to have the double bone smothered pork shop and my wife loves the gulf shrimp and steak. It was great our waiter didn't skip a beat he was very courteous and great service. Not our first time nor our last. Thanks
Dining at this establishment this Christmas proved to be a generally pleasant experience. The culinary offerings, while satisfactory, did not evoke noteworthy sentiments (commendable within their genre). The service had commendable promptness and efficiency. However, the taxidermy ambiance scared the children. Notably, our request for a medium steak resulted in a preparation leaning towards medium-well—a detail worth mentioning, particularly given the specialized focus on steaks at this establishment. Also, when my 75-year-old uncle received a kid's burger it added an interesting aspect to our overall impression.
Went out for my birthday! Got fried mushrooms as an appetizer and a tbone with sweet potato fries as my main. Steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. Our server was so sweet and attentive too.
I give this steakhouse 5 stars. The reasons are the staff, our server Juan was amazing. Then the food was cooked perfectly. I had the T-Bone and Brussel sprouts. The food came out fast (12mins) . I would go back next time I'm in San Antonio TX.
They know how to make it so buttery and full of flavor that you get that smoky grill taste. This is my first time EVER that I don't ever need any steak sauce I can eat it the way it comes, thats how flavorful it is!! everything was on point! They have great customer service, we had a great waitress who gave great suggestions and was always on top of everything we needed. The restaurant is neat and organized, the manager was there checking on tables. Had a great atmosphere for dining out or that perfect date!
We love Saltgrass any time we go. This location had staff that was not quite as chipper as we have seen in other locations, but it was not bad service, by any means. The steak was great as always, and we always get and enjoy the wedge salad.
Service was amazing. Food was great! This is our second time, in the past month eating at Salt Grass. I have to say, that the seasoning on our first visit at the one in NOLA really made a hugh impression on us. Although the steaks were cooked to perfection & everything delicious, they lack a tab bit of seasoning at this location. The manager did touch the table, which we appreciated. Great place for any occasion!
It's my visit at this location. The greeting and seating were prompt. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food was on point. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. I had a pleasant experience, and I will be back again. Come check them out for yourself!
Let me tell ya Natalia gave us the best Texas service we've had in along time . She was on point in every category her manager needs to read this review . She smile, she suggested, she gave us superior service and the food was good too 😆 we will be back . Food was great 👍 we loved this location .
Had my daughters birthday here and it was amazing. They let me make a reservation which was awesome a lot of places no longer do that. The staff was excellent and took care of our table well. The food was amazing and delicious. Highly recommend.

Went back tonight for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Our waiter Trevor was incredible and the food was delicious and perfect. This is definitely my favorite place. This location does such a wonderful job every time!
We always dine in and the service is the best here. One time we stopped here at this location to see if they would serve us because they were about to close. To our surprise they were open. The host greeted us with a smile and took us to a table. The waitstaff was so friendly and attentive you would never know it was late. Little did they know, we had just received horrible service at a different restaurant and had to leave it. They are just amazing here and that’s how it always is. Sometimes I do forget about this location, but they never forget about their customers. My steak is perfectly cooked every time! Their filets never disappoint. The fried mushroom appetizer is huuuuge and they sell the absolute best carrot cake I’ve ever eaten.
UPDATE: crab cakes are back!!! They are even more delicious than I remember 😋
