My daughter has very specific *ideas* about her birthday cakes. She loved one we got from here last year, so we got 2 this year! Our favorite flavor is definitely the chocolate cake with Nutella frosting. But they have always done such a great job with my daughters odd design requests
I love all the flavors at So Cupcake. I pick them up before work for a casual surprise for the team, and we have had them for several of our kids’ birthday parties — Luigi green for our son and blue, purple, orange, red and green for Ninja Turtles for our daughter. It’s the best frosting anywhere, and the texture of the cake itself is amazing
I ordered some cupcakes for a birthday party and requested 5 or 6 different flavors. They made 1 flavor wrong. I ordered the So Cocoa Delight but got chocolate cupcakes with yellow frosting? I don't know what they were. I personally tried the Lemon Cream Pie and Snickerdoodle. I was told that the lemon was tart. It wasn't. It had a slight tartness to it but it was mostly sweet. The Snickerdoodle frosting had an overpowering cinnamon flavor to it. It was more like a cinnamon roll not a Snickerdoodle. There's just a dusting of cinnamon in Snickerdoodles. They should know that. The cupcake itself was pretty good though-a little dry. I like that they have filling, and it's not sweet like the frosting. I don't think they're worth the amount they charge. I'd rather just go to Granite Bakery and get their more plain ones for about half the price.
Great cupcakes! Lots of delicious frosting, very heavy and rich but high quality. I recommend chopping off the bottom half of the cupcake and putting it on the top, sandwiching the frosting. It's much more palatable that way.
We ordered mini cupcakes for our wedding and they were such a hit! Beautifully displayed and delicious! Definitely recommend the Bavarian cream filled.
I love this place so much!! I am celiac and they always have some gluten free cupcakes in there for me. They are my go to for any party I have or just a quick treat pop in.
Mahalo(thanks) for making the 5 dozen,delicious,different flavored, mini cupcakes for 60th Birthday celebration. Guests loved them all, especially maple bacon, & Birthday lady loved German chocolate with coconut center😋Looking forward to returning to Salt Lake & having tea party in Future!

I have been here a few times and so far I like this place really great tasting cupcakes especially the carrot cake version only issue for me personally is the frosting is very sweet and can be a bit much. I have to limit how much I get due to this but that is mostly a me problem and nothing with this establishment
So Cupcake totally saved the day! I was in need of a last minute birthday present. Sarah helped me pick the crowds favorite flavors and even added a bow for a special touch! 10/10 highly recommend!!
We had specialty cupcakes sent to our studio. They were not only adorably cute but delicious!!
