Amazing sandwiches! I love Caputo's, and to have one on campus is a dream come true. They can be on the pricey side compared to the junk food at the union that is your other option, but it's fresh, healthy, and so delicious!
You can also buy ingredients and staple Italian meal items here, like fresh noodles, balsamic vinegar, etc. We love stopping at Caputo's and grabbing some fancy items to cook a nice stay-at-home date meal. Highly recommended.
Great place! Food is super good, with a nice variety and some pretty niche options. Service is always extremely fast, sometimes the sandwich is ready before I'm done paying. Employees Josh and Hubie are incredible, super friendly and good at what they do. Going here is sometimes the highlight of my week
Tony Caputo’s has an amazing selection of artisan foods as well as a great restaurant! I have loved every item I’ve ever ordered from the menu! The market is a great way to support some local businesses.
Delicious! I love the olive salad on the muffaletta, and the quality of the cheeses and meats is top notch! Really nice employees, and a great deal if you get a whole sandwich and split it with a friend!
They have 2 main offerings I come back for again and again - any of their Italian sandwiches, and their pound of pasta deal.
Anyone who frequents delicatessen knows you pay a little more for the fresher and finer ingredients and this is no different slicing up meats and cheese from the case on front of you.
I definitely recommend the pound of pasta with a choice of a garlic oil sauce or marinara and you can add some delicious meat balls to either. The pound of pasta deal is a bowl of penne pasta and sauce with a roll and with a drink it's just over $5. I like to do half and half and mix the two - they are wanting to make sure you are pleased and well taken care of. Definite recommend for anyone on campus tired of the commons food.
I had a half sandwich, chips and drink there today; totally worth it! Out of the ordinary, worth every penny, I gave a respectful tip. Knowledgeable staff who loves people. They will teach you Italiano for no charge.
The roasted reds sandwich is to die for. My best dreams at night involve this sandwich, the roasted reds sandwich would be the last meal i ever ate if i had the option of choosing. As a vegetarian i havent tried much of the rest of the menu but i have no desire to. I would eat the roasted reds from them every day if i could.
Super good Italian place on campus! I got half a Caputo sub and half a Muffaletta sub and while I’d order either again, the Muffaletta blew me away. So much flavor, my new favorite.
Great sandwiches! Specialty foods also available here. Great place to get some olives, cheese, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar as an appetizer for parties ect.
I liked their Caputo and Saprano sandwiches. Ingredients seems of good quality and there is a complexity in their flavors. Reasonable pricing is also a plus.
