Salt Lake Coffee Break is my new go-to spot in town! Their coffee is next level, and the chill atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends.
Coffee break is my daily caffeine fix! The coffee is top-notch, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly. Don't miss their delicious pastries. It's a hidden gem in our neighborhood!
This is a good place to grab a late cup of coffee, which a lot of restaurants and coffee shops close so early in Salt Lake City. Lots of college students hanging out; everyone looked friendly. Staff were friendly, but the coffee was not that great. I got a dirty chai coffee, it was too water down, it had a lot of ice so made it more water down. The cold brew coffee wasn't that great either. Looking for a late night coffee, this will be a good place to stop by, support locals. Parking is in the back of the building and there's a back door entrance.
Awesome staff and their coffee are good.
Place is clean, good vibes but can get crowded on weekend nights just like the rest of good coffee shops around town. Parking at the back.
Coffee Break is one of the few late-night coffee shop options around the SLC area post-covid.
It has decent beans, good service, and plenty of space for people to sit down and enjoy a nice cup. If you're in the area and don't feel like Denny's (aka folgers) coffee, this is the place to go after 7PM.
The biggest issue with the coffee shop is honestly the parking lot behind being a vulture-lot of a now permanently closed Arby's location. They've remedied the situation by opening up parking in the underground lot a bit behind it, so it's not nearly as bad as things used to be.
I really wish the awful parking company wasn't running an extortion racket though, it's really unfortunate for people who don't read signage and see a full lot. Read the signs, park in the underground, and everything will work out for you on your journey to late night coffee.
I always get the hummus plate because they have the best hummus outside of the Middle East and maybe better than some places in the Middle East. The coffee is pretty good but if it's hot I usually opt for hibiscus tea or lemonade. Waitstaff are as nice as they have to be in a hangout type coffeeshop. The Waitstaff have about the same affect as the Patrons. Anyhow I highly recommend SLCB if you love hummus or just want a coffee or have some time to kill in Salt Lake City.
This store looks kind of old and has its own vibes. The front part of the store is decorated with lots of tables and the back part of store is kind of empty. You can even see their storage that's hidden behind some sort of fabric with cool patterns. The tables are big enough for you do to homework or play board games. Different types of desserts are available.
Great down home feel coffee shop. Tons of tables & chairs, some sofa & love seat style seating. Indoor and outdoor seating. A chess table, plenty of outlets near the wall tables. Plenty of space so you don't feel crowded even they they are very busy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Chai Latte is very yummy!! Would definitely recommend for a slow paced, no pressure coffee experience.
Good venue, plenty of seating, decent free wifi, coffee wasn't bad.
My only complaint is that I was way too hot the whole time. Intended to stay for quite a few hours, but only lasted 1.

Love this shop. Honestly the prices were good and the quality was great. The only downside to this place was that the bathrooms were a bit sketchy but tolerable and parking was really weird and confusing. Still not sure I parked in the right spot.
And you are downtown so a dude getting high in the parking lot then tripping pretty hard on their couch is only to be expected.
Not bad! Would recommend!
