This location is near and dear to my heart. I still remember visiting the original Costa Vida next door when I worked at the Hollywood Video movie rental store.

The food is amazing as usual. Portions were as expected. Service was on point, fast, and friendly. The location is perfect as it is in a shopping plaza and parking is ample. They are taking proper measures to ensure safety of all during this pandemic. I am sad that chocolate flan was discontinued. Please bring that back. The tres leches is amazing though. Highly recommend
This location is near a Trader Joe’s and some other great shopping off of Union Park Avenue. Plenty of parking and rarely too busy. The staff is generally helpful, but doesn’t have the best customer service of other Cafe Rio stores that I have visited. I even got to chat with the manager once and he was pretty dismissive when I brought an issue to his attention. And I get it, nobody wants to be told how to run their restaurant, but listening to customer’s is an important aspect to running a business. A little better leadership and training would take this Cafe rio location to much better bottom lines.
The food tastes great and the staff is kindly friendly, but the portion is small, way different from the pictures and when you ask them to fix it they will charge you extra. There was a time where Cafe Rio was better than this.
There were 5 workers standing around near the register, but they wouldn't help anyone. They also had a box with Little Ceasars pizza opened up and laying in front of the utensils and napkins. It was very unprofessional, in my opinion.
They congregated there for almost 30 mins. When a couple of customers came in to pick up their online orders, these women didn't move, so the customer had to wait for one of the three men that were working to stop what he was doing to help the other customers.
Kind of negates the efficiency of an on-line order.

This was my first time into this location. It was a great experience. Super clean and friendly staff! Top quality food.
Super yummy!! Only downside was the horchata was warm and not mixed, and the portions aren’t as big as other locations. But still tasted amazing!!! There was also a hair in the food haha
