Best restaurant in South Salem! Great filling food with all natural whole ingredients! Customer service is 5/5! The chef greets everyone who walks thru the door with a friendly face! The atmosphere has a warm welcome! A little known place off Kuebler/Commercial, Taqueria Garcia is the best taco/burrito/all things authentic Mexican. Everyone has to try this place! I've never tasted food this great for this cost! The value of every item is just insane! You can tell when a restaurant owner is in it for the money, or in it for the passion, and Taqueria Garcia is all passion! Everyone needs to taste these burritos!
Nice clean establishment! One of my pet peeves in restaurants is dirty salt shakers and bottles on the tables. They were clean and the food was really good, done Mexico style, different than the regular Mexican restaurant tacos. You will not be disappointed! It's cooked fresh and home made recipes.
Best Mexican place in town. Seriously. Especially when on Tuesdays the simple taco's are 1 buck instead of 2. Can't beat it. And the family who runs the place are great. One time we went in to eat and the TV's were all blaring, we asked if they'd be willing to turn them down and he was all over it. The taco's really are awesome- you owe it to yourself to try the marinated pork ones.
Very tasty and super affordable. Street tacos were very tasty with great available sauces including a nice and mild guacamole salsa. Carne Asada fries served on krinkle cut fries had a great taste. Family and children running and eating behind the counter though. Very distracting with cell phones blaring videos while customers are ordering. Please consider feeding your family at a table like the costumers rather than behind the counter, where working employees should be.
Just ate lunch here. Chef Gustavo Garcia and family have done a wonderful job. We had the carnate asada nachos and the chicken burrito and then took home four chicken tacos for our kids everyone devoured it. It was delicious, beautiful colors and flavors, all of the sauces were great especially the spicy peanut and chipotle. It is definitely different from the Mexican flavors that I'm used to, but is different in a refreshing way. Well done Gus. We will be back!
Absolutely positively must go here. Don't just go have a taco, (It'll be the best you ever had). Meet the owner and family, enjoy the awesome sauces they've created. This is the real deal, you wont be disappointed!
