The crab rangoon here is so good it has ruined other chinese restaurants for me. I can't stand those dry two or three point crab rangoons... yong china's 4-point crab rangoon has the perfect crispiness, softness, taste, and texture... and their array of sauces available for whatever you are getting (try their mustard or spicy oil) are the best in town. I particularly like the Hot Braised Beef.
For the Yong at heart!. This is a nice place, above average decor, very friendly service. There is a lunch buffet, but dinner is strictly off the menu. Some of the dishes are about $11-12, but the vast majority are under $10. They offer the fairly traditional selection of popular Chinese dishes on their menu. I had the Szechuwan Combination which is a somewhat spicy blend of beef, shrimp and chicken with a variety of vegetables. The spice level was just right, the veggies were fresh, and the meat was very tender and tasty in a nice brown sauce. I enjoyed it very much and would definitely go back.
Yum!. Better than any other Chinese delivery restaurant I've tried in Webster Groves. As many of you have mentioned, there isn't a whole lot of great Chinese food around here! I ordered the appetizer platter for 2 (2 beef kebabs, 2 crab rangoon, 1 egg roll cut in half, 2 fried wontons, 2 chicken drummies, and 2 fried shrimp) which was decent and adequate. Nothing great, but nothing bad or offensive either. The sesame chicken was good as was the fried rice.
One thing I will say that is overwhelmingly positive is that the delivery is SUPER FAST!!! Not only that, but the food was piping hot when it arrived even though it's under 30 degrees outside. I'm really impressed by that!
Best-kept Secret of Mid-County. This place serves the best Chinese food I have had in my LIFE! My wife and I always order take out, because we are super busy and on the go. If you dine in the establishment, the decor is a little tacky, but the service is TOP NOTCH. I will even tip for take-out based on the customer service that I receive while waiting for my order. The food is delicious. The owner is so very personable. Delivery is quick and easy. There are no problems with language barriers. Whenever we get a yen for Chinese food, we go to Yong China.
Best Chicken Wings in Town. We love Yong China----my husband is crazy over their crispy, delicious chicken wings. No sauce on them, but they are hot, very crispy and delicious. We have never had anything bad from Yong China. Favorite beef dish is the Yong China Beef----it melts in your mouth. Their Crispy Chicken dish is terrific....we order it mild. Their lo mein is to die for. Seriously. Wonderful pot stickers, crab rangoons, etc.
If you are looking for a solid restaurant with good food, service, prices then try this place. If you are very picky and want luxuious ambience it may not work for you.
I had an amazing time, this is great little small family business, I have come here for years and I just love it! It is great to bring your family and just have a nice dinner/lunch. They have average prices but high quality food. When we deliver it is always quick and the food is just perfect!
We've never eaten in the restaurant but we order delivery all the time. The delivery is speedy and the food is delicious! We used to caryout at Steak and Rice in Kirkwood (since they don't deliver) but the food is just as good, if not better, and the prices are more reasonable at Yong China.

My family has been going to young China since the restaurant opened.The food is excellent and Ming always went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect.
Moo Shoo (sp?) is one of the best I have ever had.
Used to go here often at lunch with the hubby when I worked at the Dept. of Revenue office that use to be in the same building with Radio Shack on S. Brentwood. The food tasted just as good as before, but my only complaint is that they need to clean the tables with a degreaser. They were so bad they were all super sticky and after we moved to two other tables found them to ALL be like that. I know from working in restaurants over the years that you just can't "lightly wipe them off for years". It was so bad I really came close to calling the health department to check it out. Instead I am going to call them and give them a chance to rectify the situation. There is no way we were the only ones to notice!!!!!
I've been going here since they opened. Ming is a great host and the family is wonderful. The place is always clean and the food is excellent. This is the only chinese restaurant that serves food that I dont need to season somehow!!!
I get food delivered all the time. Good variety, taste great, and super friendly. They definitely know me and my house.
I recently traveled the United States extensively, even the Pacific Coast from San Diego to Vancouver (a mecca of Asian food of all varieties) and it doesn't matter where i went... it turns out noone gets crab rangoon right like Yong China. Forget those 2-point or 3-point hunks of junk you'll find elsewhere - the 4-point crab rangoon from Yong China is WHERE ITS AT.
Food is excellent, always fresh and delicious! It is a friendly family business, and prices are reasonable. Best Chinese restaurant in St. Louis.
The people are so nice and friendly, and the food is amazing as well as cheap. HIGHLY recommend.
