We were in St. Louis for family vacation. We were down in the area to go to the Wax Museum, and to go to the Gateway Arch. We walked past this place on the way to the Wax Museum, & it smelled yummy, so we decided to come back down for lunch after the museum. The food was absolutely amazing! The taco was one of the best tacos I've eaten in awhile, & the tostada, OMG, It was SO good! My whole plate was a lot of food, and I almost couldn't eat it all. There were 5 of us, and for the 5 of us our total price was not bad at all. With tip included, our total bill averaged to about $13/ea. The prices are reasonable, and the food is amazing! The waitress was awesome, the whole staff was! I highly recommend this place, especially if you are wanting authentic Mexican food. I will definitely eat here again the next time we go to St Louis. �

Great experience at Mas Tequila Cantina. The service was fantastic, the food tasted incredible, and the atmosphere is fun. What sets this place apart from other Mexican restaurants is the texture of the salsa, it’s almost as smooth as a sauce. It tastes terrific. The tacos I ordered were delicious and my friend enjoyed the carne asada. Will definitely come back!
This is the real deal. The owner is greeting you, and advising on the menu. Fantastic dry rubbed wings, and amazing tacos. The margs were top notch. It was a great time had by all.

On this Federal Holiday (Taco Tuesday), we indulged in the fish tacos & shrimp tacos #stlouispescatarianapproved The queso and salsa were the perfect starters. This spot has fantastic service – we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a great Mexican dining experience in Soulard, Mas Tequilas is a must-visit!
1st time here.... wasnt busy....7pm on a Sat. We had great service and food. Prices are higher than the average mexican place and no free chips but was worth it after our great experience.

Love this place. Today was my fourth time going and the atmosphere, food, and service is always amazing. Food is so fresh and delicious. They never disappoint. The service and owner are always friendly and generous. Great place to grab lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.
It’s on the more expensive side but not without reason. The atmosphere is small but warm like an unsuspecting hug. The food takes time but the chip bowls are large. The food looked small but was big in heart. I was satisfied. I should also note the tostadas stayed together with every bite, them and the margaritas were beautifully made. I would recommend and return, though not often.
Visiting from out of town. Very good Mexican fare, like much better than the tourist-y feel will make you think. It is a solid 4, meaning it was above average food but will not shatter your world.
I had the Chimichanga with ground beef and it was very good albeit a little smaller than other places I've been. I think that's one thing common to everything we had at the table, for the price the portions are a little shy. However, the taste was very good.
We had a bit of a wait on a slow Sunday afternoon as they trained a new chef so they comped us chips and salsa, which was nice of them. One of our party's fajitas came a few minutes after the rest of our food. I had the house marg and it was really good, didn't taste super strong, meaning it tasted smooth and sweet but still got me tipsy. Definitely get the margaritas!
We also had kids and they had kid tacos and they ate all of it. Our friend ordered more tacos as well, so again, this is a tasty joint and a great stop if you're in town.
The owners are friendly and attentive! The food is tasty and their Rice is superb!! Margaritas are always on point and Jesus will always make you any flavor your heart desires! Give them a try you won't be disappointed!
The atmosphere is split. They have the inside, which has a fun "Day of the Dead" theme. It's also got louder music and a bar with, you guessed it, mas taquilas. Outside is more laid back and quiet with nice lighting in the evening. Pick your poison. The food was very good. Both my wife and I enjoyed the new rich flavors here. Of course, we also had a few margaritas, and they were nice and tasty. The wait staff were all very polite and took good care of us. We'll definitely be back.
