Pizza is awesome. Whether you're getting dinner or brunch, the food is on point. Great beer selection, and the staff is amazing. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. If you're homophobic/transphobic, you'll absolutely hate the gender-neutral bathrooms, which are private single-users with locking doors, which proves that it's your insecurity, not theirs. You'd have to be a real jerk to not enjoy this place. And it's all the better without you.

"Stepping through the door I am greeted, warmly by a finely bearded man in flannel. As I approach the bar a wildly bright and personable gent aptly named Joe asks me, "What'll it be, sir!" Joe is smartly dressed in a white, button-down and a bow tie. As the fluttering of the piano, infused with jazz horns drifts sweetly into my ears I am instantly transported to a 1930s/40s era hot spot. I mention something about beer and Joe promptly, by heart rattles off the whole list of taps even injecting a few little gems of information about each. He recites them in a way not forced in the slightest which also invites me to probe further. They all seem lovely and I am invited to try a sample. As if this were all not enough I am treated to a menu with only a few options but they all sound so amazing. I elect to go with the pizza featuring the Tinto sauce which I chose off of Joe's information. To go with the pizza I order an Earthbound brown ale. Sipping the cool, frothy beverage my bliss only grows as I enjoy the music and the atmosphere in a way not common to just any old watering hole in the city. The nostalgia welled up inside me and forced its way out in the form of a foolish grin. All the while Joe regales me with history about the neighborhood, society, and beer. It was at that point I decide that Yaquis on Cherokee is my new favorite spot to eat and drink within the city of St. Louis." - based on a true story! :D

Pizza was excellent. Waitstaff were very good and professional. Atmosphere was laid back and peaceful. I would not hesitate to return if I was in the neighborhood and hungry for Pizza.

Got their Pizza Margarita with sausage. It was outstanding.  Pizza was just like the ones I had in Italy two years ago.  Only difficulty was the bill.  Waitress charged me for two pizzas when I had only bought one.  It was quickly resolved.  Great place!!

We throughly enjoyed brunch. Breakfast pizzas were enough to feed two. Best crust ever. Delicious crepes. Biscuits and gravy were also great.

Local pizza place and bar with live music. Pizza is excellent and lots of beer choices on tap. Somewhat small so seating is limited. Not located in the best part of town.

I have been thinking about going to this place for a while now. The pizza was really good( I gave four stars because the crust was soft and the pizza kept falling apart). Good atmosphere, and service was great.

This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in STL! I’ve tried multiple different pizzas and none have disappointed me yet. It’s by far my favorite place to eat on Cherokee!

Fantastic pizza served in a small dining area, with great tributes to Josephine Baker wall-art. A padded bench with pillows lines the windows for great views, and there's sidewalk seating as well. Staff are fun and very friendly, and it draws great crowd. (I didn't care much for the caprisi salad though.) Nonetheless, one of my favorite places on Cherokee to eat.

Great services. Music usually every night usually jazz or ragtime. Very good pizza but bit pricey. Go on wednesday, pizza is half off. Hosts and guests tend to be colorful people, a great place to interact with strangers and bum a cigarette or joint. Champagne and martini on tap.

I really enjoyed the live music and the food here. I had the Greek pizza which came with 8 slices, and I have the garden salad which came with dressing already drizzled on top. I also tried the BlackBerry and pear cider which was super good as well. The bar tenders could have been a little more interactive though. The guy that tended to me seemed a bit more bright and had decent eye contact. The girl seemed very serious and seemed as though she was trying to avoid eye contact with me except when she brought my food over. Outside of that they seem to have a really regular crew of people they knew. I'd definitely go back and I hope to review again with a full 5 stars.

We came for the music but enjoyed the food so much! Honestly we didn't even know what to expect with the food🙃 My son is a lifelong… meaning hes been a fan since he was 3 and hes now 11, But life won't still fan of miss jubilee. So when we heard she was on jerky street we were there right away. But I tell you what this reminded us of when we used to see her rule Lafayette a decade ago and it was absolutely perfect. If you get the chance come when there's music if you don't still come for the pizza. And the service honestly could not have been better! Thank you to everybody there for making our nights so special.
