My wife and I enjoy fine dining. We usually go out about once a week, but haven't been in a while. At any rate, I've recently become meat and dairy free, making it a little more difficult to find options. When I made reservations, I believe I mentioned being vegan in passing. Not only did they remember that, but they suggested specific options for me. Build your own tacos and smoked red potatoes were both fantastic menu options! Service was phenomenal. Not too much and not too little. The food was exceptional. Easily the best meal we've had in a few months! The bar was also outstanding, including an extensive wine menu. I would not only highly recommend Vicia, but will also be back very soon.

I thought this was hands-down the best tasting menu I’ve had in St. Louis (Farmhaus, Sidney Street twice, and Stone Soup). We had a vegan diner with us and the meal was so vegetable heavy - in the best way - that her variations weren’t completely different and, I tasted them all, were absolutely delicious. My meal which was left to the chef was incredible. It’s nearly impossible to choose a favorite course as they were all inventive and surprising. The only negative is that I didn’t feel the cheese course was worth the money. It’s an optional add-on which was ultimately unnecessary as we all left stuffed. I also had the grapefruit cocktail which was delicious and I would absolutely order again. Service was wonderful, explanations were thorough, the patio did get a little warm but once the sun went down, it was very comfortable.
We visited for a milestone birthday and it was an experience to remember! Every dish had a complex blend of balanced flavors and the wines were perfectly paired. Every detail was executed so well. Absolutely worth it for special occasions.
James Beard awards two years in a row. This restaurant did not disappoint. Each dish a taste explosion in your mouth and a visual delight.
Wine pairings were unique and delightful (Greek and SO Africa)
Great service.
A unique and memorable dining experience unlike any other I am aware of in St. Louis!
Everything was unique and surprising! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in St Louis. Loved the vegetable forward menu.
We did the farmers feast tasting menu. All of the dishes were creative, carefully constructed, and delicious. The fried potato with caramelized onion and the cheesy grits with smoked daikon were real stars of the show. Unique wine menu and great cocktails.
Great tasting menu.... Service is top notch! We did the elevated tasting menu and it did not disappoint. They advertise as 3 courses but there are several plates in each course. Very vegetable forward from local farms.
Fantastic local vegetable driven dinner. If you go and enjoy wine, please get the wine pairing, Kevin the sommelier is brilliant with pairing the Chef's Feast!
This is a bit higher end than I am used to. We did the tasting option and celebrated our engagement. The food was exceptional. We both enjoyed 95% of what was served and what we didn't like was due to palette preferences and not the quality of the food. The wine pairings were perfect. The staff was amazing. I didn't think the dessert was on the same level as the appetizers and main course but it still tasted well. Ultimately, I hope to return again. I need to have more of those turnip tacos.
Vicia is a must go if you are visiting St. Louis, the food experience is superb, and unique with organic ingredients that taste amazingly, I enjoy the place so much and for sure I would go back if I visit the city again. The area is colorful, people were amazing. Excellent wine and cocktails.

Excellent service very helpful in explaining drink options and food in detail. The food was above and beyond delicious. Master pieces when it comes to balance of favor. I had the turnip shell tacos to start then chicken, grits , and summer squash (dinner special). Very impressed with the layers of flavor in the dinner special. Last dessert sour cherries and light cake, topped with toasted meringue and light vanilla ice cream. They also offer many after-dinner drinks. I had coffee with amaretto which was perfect with dessert. Vicia is a gift to those of us who live nearby and to St Louis over all. If you get a chance to stop in please do so, you will not be disappointed.
I had one of the most memorable dining experiences of my life at Vicia. My husband treated me to dinner at Vicia for my birthday, and we both indulged ourselves with the Farmer's Feast menu.
I really enjoyed watching the staff work in the kitchen - it is obvious that perfection in taste, quality, and presentation are paramount to the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish presented to us. What a special experience!
We recommend adding on an upgraded wine package to your meal, it is worth it.
