Yesterday, we had a family celebration at Cafe Mochi at my granddaughter's request. The owner and staff were welcoming and the menu offers quite a variety of dishes. Our table of 7 tried 5 of the sushi rolls and a few appetizers and entrees. The the sliced sushi rolls were arranged on white serving platters, accompanied by a few sauces. The hot sake and cocktails hit the spot, and the whole experience delicious, gracious. (The calamari tempura was definitely my favorite!) Happy hour prices are especially inviting. You'll enjoy every aspect of your visit to Cafe Mocha~ Linda C. Senn
I've eaten a lot of sushi at different places, but the sushi here was by far the best I've ever eaten! We also had the spring rolls as an appetizer (delicious!) and the shrimp hibachi (also delicious). The Fuji Roll is simply outstanding, and the Butterfly Shrimp is excellent! Service was not over the top great, but it was still good. I can't wait to go back!
We've loved Cafe Mochi for years!
The Volcano Roll and gyoza are absolute must-haves, as are the Vietnamese iced coffees. I think we prefer the vegetable crispy spring rolls over the pork, but I'm glad we tried the pork! Another awesome experience as always.
A long time friend invited us to try sushi for the first time. I'm so glad we came here every roll was a new flavor that pleased out taste buds. The server was friendly was a little sassy mixed in. Loved the serve and the atmosphere. Will be back soon.
I love the sushi and noodles at Cafi Mochi! It’s my go to spot when I’m wanting time sushi and noodles. The Sobq noodles are so delicious! I enjoyed every bit of this meal! Easy, 10/10
Not a single bad thing to say. Beautiful place, we were sat by a big window. Ate a wide array of sushi and our server was delightful
Absolutely the best sushi I ever had!! LOVE the Volcano Roll, totally worth the drive!!
The mochi is delicious and the sushi is top notch. The portions are fantastic for the price and the service is amazing. They have a lovely large fenced patio on South Grand, perfect for people watching or pup watching!
Cafe Mochi on South Grand is a cozy spot known for its delicious sushi and Asian fusion dishes. The ambiance is casual and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The sushi rolls are creative and fresh, and the happy hour deals are a great value. Service is generally quick and friendly, making it a great choice for a casual meal.
Café Mochi!
Pretty good Japanese restaurant here in the Lou!
Very nice spot, nice location, nice patio, nice sushi,
The lobster 🦞 roll is amazing, although don’t fall for the picture like I did! The lobster shell is actually empty and there only for the looks!
It was still very tasty and worth it!
Every is good, would recommend
The tea also was good and the ice cream 🍨
They also got some good Japanese beer 🍻
Great overall!!! Don't go here if you're trying to be cheap. Lol!! Honestly, there are reasonable prices, but as you see, we got a lot. The food is so fresh & good!! Our favorite sushi place.
I've been going here since I was little with my dad on my birthday. It's always my favorite place and my #1 choice every birthday. We would share the volcano and it was the best sushi I ever had! Thanks for all the great memories café mochi!!
