The food was different from what I have had before but it was all great. There was 4 of us and no one went home hungry. If you like peanuts I suggest you try the fried garlic peanuts. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the different items on the menu. One of our friends is a vegetarian and there was things on the menu for him also. The cost was fair for the amount of food and drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a different style of Philippino food. Don't be expecting regular Philippino food or you may be disappointed. Take it for what it is. They also have a food truck. Be on the look out.
This one place I would go higher than 5 stars on! I had the 800lb Guerrilla and thinked God for every bite.
I lived in San Diego for 20 years and all my friends lived in National City. Most of the are Filipinos and would be invited to family parties. Where I got to eat a lot of great Filipino Food.
Guerrilla Street Food has the flavor palette down. The look of the food is a work of art. The smell as you enter is heaven on earth. Than the flavor proves that your eyes and nose did not let you down.
I will definitely be back and Heck Yes I'm bringing friends. Because Great Filipino Food Deserves To Be Shared With Family And Friends.
Best pork in the city! I was Jewish until I ate here, renounced my faith as soon as I saw the belly of the beast. I had no idea how good pork could be!
Also their custom civil life beer is really good, but I recommend the one inch punch, it is fabulous.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine as well. Also they procure fresh greens daily from Jay International foods.
When I tell you the food was amazing it just doesn't do it justice. Service was fast and the Flying Pig burrito was just layers upon layers of flavor. Rice was cooked perfectly and the pork was tender. Wife got the ribs which was also amazing but the pork belly taco was a little too overdone for my liking. Still great.
Delicious food with a little kick (heat). Full of flavor, good price (less than $10 for lunch). Not all-you-can drink except for water and seating is tight, but there is a good parking lot right behind the building. I recommend and will be returning myself.
Great food, great atmosphere, great prices, great service, I mean this is just the perfect place! I am more than excited to eventually come back and try everything else. Makes sense the Mayor of Flavortown himself had to stop by!
Love Guerrilla Street food! The serving sizes are large but reasonable. You'll likely pay more than $9 for your meal, but it will be worth it. Staff are always friendly and we love eating there.
This is your basic no frills kind of place - but the food is anything but basic. I had the veggie noodles. It had so many delicious tastes to it I really didn’t miss the meat. Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. There’s not much seating so if I was craving it at a busy time I would probably get it to go.
The service was great! We walked in and the staff was more than happy to explain the menu and recommended delicious items. We had the breakfast sandwich (made with a Van Gogh donut) and the Pancit. I️ wish they would have melted the cheese on the sandwich and the top of the sandwich which would make it less dry. Other than that, both meals were great and I️ would definitely go back.
Fantastic food at great prices. Was very pleasantly surprised. Creative tastes but not too bizarre. Great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
What an excellent, variety menu at a low price - I've seen food trucks more expensive than this. Great quality food, although peppercorns from their brine were still heavily in my dish. Try the $2 drinks- they're amazing. I ordered the 800lb Guerilla so I could try their two popular options: the Flying Pig and the Chicken Adobo. Check out the size for only $12. Enjoy!
The Flying Pig is soooo delicious 😋! Anytime I think of it, I begin salivating. We tried the sour fried chicken too...good, interesting.
