One of the best pizzas I've had since I left Jersey!
Best pizza in Sactown.
Decent price and the pizza is so good when the chef hands it from the oven and gives it to you, tomato sauce mixed melting chess with a crispy crust is the perfect combination.
I eat 3 times (2 slides/per each) per week.
It's a must-try when you pass by.
One of the best pizza joints in Sacramento. Has a New York feeling through and through, they sell by the slice (huge slice). The Pizza is absolutely delicious and made right in front of you by a legit Pizza maker- not some high school student doing a summer job. This pizza is no joke.
It's a small place and easy to miss. Not much seating, probably about 4 tables.
In conclusion if you're tired of the same old pizza chains and want an authentic slice of goodness, this place is the spot to go to.

From the moment you step foot into this carby wonderland, your senses are taken hostage by the aromatic waltz of baking dough and bubbling cheese. The ambience is as inviting as a grandma's kitchen - if your grandma was a hip, graffiti-artist with a deep-seated love for retro vinyl records.
Each pizza they serve is a veritable Picasso on a platter. The Margherita is a minimalist masterpiece while the Pepperoni has more rounds than a heavyweight boxing match. And their special Sac-Town Supreme? It's like Mardi Gras on a pizza stone!
Now let's not forget the staff - a delightful squad of pizza ninjas that swoop around, refilling your soda before you've even realized it's empty. Their service is so fast, you'd think they swapped their delivery scooters for teleporters.
So if you're in the neighborhood and hear your stomach grumbling louder than a grizzly bear, march down to Eighth Street Pizza. And remember: a balanced diet is a slice of pizza in each hand. Over and out, cheese lovers!
To me, this is one of those spots where you'll definitely miss it if you don't know what you're looking for. Or if you're wandering around aimlessly at night, happen to be hungry and happen to cross paths with this joint and notice it’s open, you're in for a treat!
Ever since I tried my first slice of NY style pizza in NY (thank you Scar's pizza) I've been in search for if one exists in Sac.
With a mural for its sign and a neon open sign, you'll walk in to a small and intimate seating area. I've visited two times in the past 2 days because I couldn't get enough of the pies!
When I visited, it was already pretty late in the night (9pm - 10pm) and the man working mentioned they're open until about 2am on Fridays. The wait was longer than expected but it was a welcomed experience to just slow down, sit down and enjoy the ambience as he whistled while he worked.
Very friendly. Told him to make whatever he thought was the best minus mushrooms and it was the best pizza I’ve ever had!
Pizza is great! Prices are great! Is their store open? Maybe, maybe not. If they posted a schedule on the door and followed it, they'd get 5 out of 5 stars! (update: Excellent pizza, not open Mondays, great prices. I like to order it, "extra crispy")
The best margherita pizza I’ve had in a long time. Very cool place in Downtown Sacramento for authentic pizza. Highly recommended.
Phenomenal. Real thing. High quality ingredients-- baby bella mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, fresh basil, . Crust is tender yet crispy. Better than any I have had in Italy and certainly in California.

The pizza was delicious. Great crust, plenty of toppings. Also ordered the 8th St Salad. Excellent! Full of bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, etc. It was not lettuce heavy like so many other places. Loved it.
Just went here for lunch for the first time. Ordered a classic pepperoni by the slice. I’ve tried many New York style pizza places around Sac and this one is one of the best. Just simple and delicious pizzas. Prices are very good too. Will be back again.
