Good prices. Kind of drab, but friendly service. Waitresses came by at least 5 times for coffee refills or check up. Have to ask for whipped butter. Very clean restrooms.

Amazing place. Their breakfast is good. Bacon was delicious and smoky, pancakes were fluffy, and country potatoes were good. Dont listen to the old comments, this place was amazing.
My wife and I had breakfast here one morning and we loved it. Great service, great food, great prices. We really enjoyed it. We've been back several times since and always the same results. Fantastic.
Wasn’t sure what to expect from a nondescript breakfast diner but this hit the spot. Lots of seating, reasonably clean, and affordable with options for all diets. The Hot Juan Skillet was delicious and full of flavor. If I’m in the area again I’d definitely stop in to try their sweet breakfast options like the berry brioche French toast.
A not so hidden, maybe forgotten gem. Stopped in for breakfast and coffee and was greeted with a good morning and quickly followed by a darn good cup of Joe. I had the vanilla creme crepes with blueberries, bacon, over easy eggs cooked to perfection and a side of hashbrowns with the perfect crisp. The place is clean and tidy and the prices are moderate considering the times. Might become a regular even if just for the coffee. Only regret is I couldn't swing a bigger tip as the server deserved it.
True dinner experience! The food is good and price are good, plus the staff is friendly.
Only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the venue dated and needs a refresh/makeover. I would hope they change it more like a 50s/60s dinner look, cover the floor better, change the light and make it brighter inside. Think also open the windows up, would help lots for light, plus allow poeple outside can see in.
Looks a little old from the outside ( and inside) , but what matters is that the food and prices are great!!. Nice it has a 55+ menu for us older folks. Specials til 11am. Closes at 2pm, but stops taking orders at 130pm.
Waffle square is a fixture at Cottage & Fulton. This large restaurant is clean, if a little dated. They serve a good breakfast at reasonable prices.
Our first visit was okay. But this second time around was awesome! Chuy was the ONLY one working the floor and they were on their J.O.B! There was a little mixup with the food, but Chuy fixed it asap!
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was top tier!
Very nice place. Best waiter hands down the only thing i would have changed is fresh strawberries on my Belgian waffle. Very good place i will visit again.. waiter was the best server Ever.

This place is hands down the awesomest place I've had breakfast. The staff is very non judgemental. I brought my chihuahua Bj with me which after the morning I'd had, I was certain it was going to be a problem. Not only was it not a problem but the waitress who was absolutely wonderful BTW brought him his own chicken.Then the manager or owner not really sure which who was also wonderful brought BJ his own 3 pieces of freshly cooked bacon. They didn't even charge me for it. I looked a mess I'd been out all night I was tired my friend and I ordered biscuits and gravy and a skillet both were awesome. My friend has been coming here since before Covid and told me more stories about these wonderful people the food is great and cheap. The service goes above and beyond. I'll be eating here everytime I can afford to eat out. 2 thumbs up 5 stars. Woot woot you guys rock. You got a real hidden gem here Sacramento..
