The teriyaki chicken here is a taste that reminds me of my mom's home-made chicken. The glossy teriyaki chicken and rice soaked in sauce are the best combination. If you are busy, of course, to-go, but if you have time, I recommend you to eat in the restaurant.
I've been twice now and gotten sandwiches both times.
They're incredibly well balanced between meat, veggies, cheese, bread, etc. and are really good. The meat is sliced pretty thick and it leaves you full but not stuffed.
The staff is very polite, and the dining area is delightful.
Everything is very fairly priced as well.
The CHICKEN CEASER SALAD was AMAZING!!!!!
It was a restaurant I came across while touring around Sacramento during spring break. Salad was fresh and the romaine was crunchy until the end. Various toppings enriched the salad. This time, we ordered it to go, but next time we will eat some other dishes in dining.
Visited during the noon hour, and had the steamed rice w/ teriyaki chicken (a lunch special). Had a choice between regular or spicy sauce.. I chose spicy but it was barely spicy at all. The food was ready, they just had to put the plate together and then I paid, so I'm not sure if other items take longer to prepare but this dish had no wait time. Food w/ soda was $9 and change. No line at 12:40 but could've been busy earlier.
Food is ok for a cafe. Not outrageously good but decent. Salad seemed to come right out of a bag i.e. pre-cut. Again nothing fancy but wasn't necessarily expecting that.
Oh and note that breakfast ends at 11am. I actually came here for breakfast and though the breakfast menu is huge I saw nothing indicating it ends early.
Love their Iced Chai Tea Latte! Great Breakfast spot and staff is very friendly. :)
This place has, by FAR, the absolute BEST chicken caesar salad on the planet! The dressing is phenominal and you can purchase a container of it to go! Ive used it at home on everything from chicken salad to brushing it on chicken and bbqing. The owner is always there and so friendly and attentive. If they dont have what you are looking for chances are, if you tell him they will probably have it the next time you go in. He always has blueberry Bai for me. Ive had other menu items and have never been disappointed. Fast great food and excellent service!
The croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese was delicious! Everything on the menu is fairly priced for the quality. If you are looking for a quick bite while out downtown, this is a good place. I believe they have wifi, which is nice, however the vibes inside the restaurant are not necessarily “work-friendly.” The owner and employees are very nice.
The best green tea smoothie, breakfast burritos and and English muffin. Would recommend especially if you are at the courthouse. It’s right across the street
Reasonably priced great options for veggie peeps and for kids! Everyone was very friendly. Great for quick bite to eat.
These people are so warm and friendly. They are a reminder of the difference between a franchise experience in customer service vs. locally owned businesses. They have been consistently good in demeanor and very welcoming each time I step in the door. Wonderful tasting food too, not gut bomb, made fresh every day (I walk by as she grills the chicken).
Generally a pleasant and warm atmosphere.
