Fast and fresh food. The service is good and direct. The food is well seasoned.
The beef bulgogi was tender and delicious. Fried shrimp are large and sesame chicken was juicy. The squid was a touch chewy, but not tough, spicy and delicious. The side dishes are good particularly the cucumber kimchi and the picked daikon radish.
Good family restaurant.
Much better than the first time we came. They provided a good amount of ban chan (side dishes), and overall food was very good. Our server was kind, but a little slow as it was busy (on a Tuesday night). We will be back to try other dishes.
Great food! Ordered Bibimbap (Hot stone bowl) kimchi, Haemul (Seafood) pajeon and Galbi (BBQ beef short ribs). Will be back.
Definitely got the Korean family feel. Great portion and the hot pot is delicious. Great varieties of appetizers. Highly recommended.
The workers are super busy so it may be be a little difficult to get their attention, but nonetheless they are really friendly. The food was delicious, we got jajangmyeon, fried squid with sauce, fried shrimp with sauce, and beef short ribs. The appetizers were really crispy and flavorful and they were REALLY generous with their portion sizes. We also ordered the spicy seafood soup which wasn’t really a hit. The broth was good but the fish was really tough and lacked some flavor, however, it included some crab and octopus which was really good. The environment was clean, including the bathrooms, and it had dividers that provided some privacy. Will be back for their jajangmyeon :))
A little disappointed that the cold noodles doesn't come with any side dishes. Tbf, they did tell me there was no side dishes before ordering, but I only came here to try their cold noodles, so I ordered it anyway. As Jisoo would've said “Not bad, but not good (either)”. Felt like for $17, I could make this at home for less than that or better to go eat Pho. Only thing that would've made this experience worth it is if they gave side dishes. The place was clean and had a good atmosphere tho.
Delicious, authentic Korean food!!!!!!!! Highly recommend! Very clean establishment, with super nice staff!
We were in town visiting families and we had the pleasure of dining at Modurang Family Korean Restaurant, a local favorite that came highly recommended. Our party of seven embarked on a culinary journey, exploring the extensive BBQ menu along with a delightful pot of soup. The array of side dishes was impressive, so much so that some of us were nearly full before the main attractions arrived!
The standout dishes for our table were the pot of soup and the grilled short ribs - both were exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, not everything hit the mark; the chicken and beef bulgogi were a bit of a letdown due to their dryness.
What truly made our experience memorable, aside from the food, was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful, ensuring our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. It’s this level of care and attention that makes Modurang stand out.
If you're a fan of Korean cuisine and appreciate a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere, Modurang is definitely worth a visit. Just be sure to leave room for their delightful soup and short ribs!
Services were good and waitresses were friendly and nice. All the dishes which we ordered were good. Golbi was very tender. The only thing we complained about are the chopsticks which were so flat.
The most authentic korean place I've been to! They have the most variety in sides and unlike other korean places I've been to their sides don't just all taste lile sesame oil and vinegar. Each dish has it's own exquisite taste as it should 😊 I am very satisfied everytime I come here. Very simple, neat, & tidy on the inside. Customer service is sweet. All the aunties here are legit like the ones feom the korean movies hahaa. I Love coming here and come at least twice a month, sometimes 4 times.
