I have been going here for over 25 years! The food is superb and the prices are great. The new happy hour is fire!!!
The food is always delicious, I have been coming here with my family for years.😊 I love the flautas, and the green pozole.
While I currently primarily order their delicious food for delivery, I have decades of fond memories of eating at Los Jarritos since their opening, and can recommend both the restaurant experience and their delivery option. A welcoming, comfortable, relaxed, and fun atmosphere combined with their consistently tasty food and reasonable prices makes for a perfect informal dine-in choice, and I've now had multiple delivery orders that have also been consistent in their delivery speed, careful and secure packaging, food quality, and fair pricing. Highly recommended, appreciated, and cherished as a longtime Sacramento favorite of mine.
So, I love popsicles. Anytime is the right time for them. They're better than green eggs and ham. This place makes some of the very best. They're fresh and delicious. There are many to choose from, with a variety of fruits, nuts, and even creamy delights. I went last week just for these. You try and tell us what you think.
Los Jarritos is quick, tasty, and friendly. I've gone here for years... Until I developed food allergies. If you're allergic to milk products (cheese specifically) or are vegan: beware. Shredded cheese finds it's way into everything here. Recently I ordered some tamales with no sauce and they brought me tamales covered in melted cheese. I've never been to a restaurant that served tamales in which had cheese on top. I explained I couldn't have cheese and they happily brought me a fresh order of tamales. I picked off 5 shreds of cheese from those tamales as I was at that point soo hungry.That being said.... If you eat everything come here for some low cost tasty food.
Loved the place. Just wasn't into the food. Husband got a burrito and the super nacho I ordered the super nacho too but no meat for me.
I lived in downtown Sacramento for over a decade and Los Jarritos was and to this day one of my favorite places. Food is consistently great and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and sociable. Try the fish tacos plate, it's my favorite. Whenever I am in this area and want a great meal, it is my go to spot.

My family and I stopped on a Sunday and found it very busy. They enjoyed bean and cheese burritos and I enjoyed a fish Taco.
Would suggest Warm Chips.
Suggest Labeling the Salsa Bar.
