Very good food! Chip's and salsa amazing. Really cold beer on tap. I had the Berria plate and it was great. The best tortillas I have ever eaten in a Mexican restaurant... I will be back to eat here again on my next trip. Service was really good as well!
The food is so amazing! Some of the best I ever had.the hand carved statues outside are beautiful the service was excellent.
The best Mexican food in Chicago, I mean Sacramento. Trying out the Camarones Zarandeados was a once in a lifetime experience. The protein was so fresh that I can feel the shrimps swimming down the intestines. It was so tender that a 90 yo old man would be able to enjoy with ease. At the same time it was so flagrant that I felt the entire Mexico in my mouth.

I was here for a work trip and my hotel was very close. The staff accepted one of my orders minutes from closing without complaint. I went here 3 times, and the food was good all 3 times. A bonus was that they had awesome wood carvings out front.
really good. Highly recommend Camarones Zarandeafos, a little bit spicy but give you better than marijuana feeling. Best Mexican food I ever ate.
First time going to Nena's. I ordered the camarones sarandiados & that were DELICIOUS. They are also famous for their hand made tortillas de harina which were amazingly delicious as well! 😋
This particular day lunch was a little slow so service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and offered a lot of suggestions. But looking at the menu it was difficult to choose what I wanted because there was so much variety. I luv the variety...thnx.... .

Good food & good vibes! This is my favorite Sunday spot! The service is always exceptional. I order Chilaquiles con huevos - red or green sauce - doesn't matter, I've not had any better! Homemade flour tortillas, salsa - all good! And Mariachi.
Wow, this place rocks!! We waited about 45 minutes for a table just because the place was full. Once seated, we were waited by a young man named, Cesar. The menu was a thick book with many wonderful choices. From breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. We were served chips and salsa then treated to their homemade flour tortillas. Food delivery took a while but upon arrival they were to dive for. Plate after plate of heavenly delicacies. Waiter was friendly and kept asking us how things were even though restaurant was at near full capacity. This is a must stop if you're in the city of Sacramento. There were a couple grammatical errors on the menu regarding the history of the restaurant and its owner but the food and service is why people come. Great job, Cesar!!
My new favorite place for Mexican cuisine! It's too bad I'm only in town for a weekend trip!!
The wait to be seated was a bit long, but as soon as I placed my order, the food was ready in less than five minutes, and everything was absolutely delicious, from the entrees to the freshly made tortilla chips! I had a shredded pork enchilada, crispy chicken taco, soft asado taco, and of course one of their made from scratch tortillas! On top of it all, the staff was super attentive and very friendly and genuine. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely come back!
