Thinner crust than normal. Almost paper thin. Been coming here for quite awhile and never experienced this. I understand deep dish and thick crust is different. But the crust at Zeldas has always been thicker.
Still delicious after all these years!. My first time here since 1985 when I was stationed in Sacto during my Air Force days. The pizza, the service and the nonflashy decor were as perfect as I remember them being back in the day. What a delicious treat and a nice trip down memory lane!
Very good and will return. Not sure if I would let Zelda's represent how Chicago does their pizza, but still very good. The 1$ Bud drafts were awesome. Call ahead and order if you don't want to wait for your pizza.
A hole in the wall. Love the pizza! Love the atmosphere and the price is right! Great choice for pizza in Sacramento!

Pizza. I have moved away... I dream of this pizza! Every time I or my friend is in the area we get a few frozen to go! I miss sitting down with a beer and salad waiting for that perfect pizza to get to your table! Good food takes time!
Zeldas is the best Pizza, love the deep dish, I'm so sick of all this thin pizza you get every where here. I had the combo the crust is so good, beers may be small but, Bud for $1 can not beat it. If I lived in Sac I would be here all the time. Two Big Hands On The Belly.

This is a place for quality pizza. If you like thin foppy processed toppings, find yourself a chain. This place is legit deep dish pizza. The Combo and the Spinocolli are fantastic. There are 3 main types of good pizza (deep dish, thin crust, and typical American style), this deep dish is easily the best in Sacramento. If you don't like this place, Pieces is down the street, you will probably like that garbage.
Pizza is deep dish style. The crust was dry and kind of crumbly. Otherwise tasted good. I prefer more sauce on my spaghetti. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious. Comes in a bread bowl made of the same pizza dough described above. Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere reminded me of an old small town diner. A nostalgic feeling for me.
Heard about this place back in 2004. Finally went to try it. Pizza was different but good. I really liked the garlic bread. Cute spot.
It was so fun to reunite with the great folks who represent Zelda's! When I walked in I was met by an amazing gentleman who gave me such an energetic welcome.
While waiting for Zelda's famous pizza, and their meatballs & spaghetti, I sipped at some Lipton tea, Grand Marnier which was so yummy, tasty and lit me up!
The combo pizza is to savior for! It was so tasty and great... the spaghetti and meatballs were awesome.
Lastly, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, love and celebration.
Thanks to the great staff of employees, each one of you made my evening great!
Old neighborhood bar and pizza charm. Eric the bartender made it a fun time while we waited for our pizza.
Best pizza pie around. Well worth the wait. It is unique and you will not believe how good it is until you taste it.
It's always a good idea to order ahead as the wait to get the pizza to you is no less than 30 minutes. Be smart and order two. You won't be disappointed.
The interior is the same as years past but doesn't look old or worn but rather warm and comfortable.
Don't miss out on this Sacramento landmark.

The reviews don’t lie this is honestly the best pizza in Sacramento! I really like how they serve the beer in the half pints. It’s only $1.50 really great atmosphere and the food came out pretty quickly.
Our bartender ERIC works Thursday n Friday and always takes care of us !

We had dinner on Saturday and had a great time. They were busy, but we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive. I had a strawberry daquiri and it was delicious. Our pizza came out quickly and was delicious as well. Such a great experience as always! Can't wait to go back!
