I was late getting to the restaurant, but they still seated me and the service was attentive and prompt. I ordered naan and navratan Korma. I can tell you It was very good. I don't recall this dish having paneer, but it was a delicious surprise. I typically remember this dish having nuts, but none in their version. It was so good and creamy, just slightly spiced, the naan was freshly baked. The rice was perfectly cooked. This place is close to hotels, natomas shopping, and the arena. Put it on your list to eat there. Yummmm.
I've been to many many many Indian food spots! This is by far the best Indian food I've ever had. Every dish screams with flavor. It's just that amazing.
They are very good services and their food are fresh and great specially their lamps are very good teasing .I can recommended to any one to check it out for yourself , believed when you see it and trying , . It is about three of us all the time , most the time was on Saturday week end , it is about twice every month we visit the place with the three or two of us . we loved the Lamp and we liked their services . thank you SRM. yes we are continued visited the places twice the months
Food is excellent! Go there once a week for lunch and every time I go they present something new to the buffet. Best in Sac, bar none.
The food was average buffet type food - nothing particularly stood out. The price was high. On a positive note, the service was outstanding! But for the food and price factor, probably will not repeat.
I really enjoyed my buffet dining experience here. The wait crew are males, which I particularly enjoyed, nice kind and accommodating
The food is fresh and plentiful with many good choices. Some of the best nan bread. I will be returning soon
India Oven. Tasty, spicy and a unique experience. The hyderabadi chicken biryani - spicy is the way to go. Jam packed with herbs, it compliments your choice of curry. We chose the Lamb Saag Masala and it was delicious. Definitely worth a trip.
Also start off the night with the Amritsari Fish Pakora. It's a light dish the set the mood for dinner.

Food was delicious and service was great. Ordered our food and it was served quickly
Love the decor and bathrooms were cleaned. We will recommend India Oven to our family and friends in the Sacramento area.
Delicious!!!! The buffet has plenty of tasty options! Everything smelled and tasted fantastic, the whole restaurant was very clean, And the staff are so polite!!
I got the salmon plate everything was perfect except it should come with naan already because it just seems more complete this way
Indian Oven is a hidden gem that brings the flavors of India to life. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and attentive service set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu offers a diverse range of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with vibrant spices and flavors. Whether you're a fan of classic favorites like butter chicken or seeking to explore new culinary horizons, India Oven is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of India in the Sacramento area.
Solid Indian buffet with many delicious options like chicken curry, lamb curry, butter chicken, eggplant marsala, tandoori chicken, garlic naan, fritters, salads, fruits and more. Watermelon tasted off and some pieces of tandoori were burned, but most items were pretty good. Be sure to get extra garlic naan with your food. We spent around $42 for two people after tax and tip. Buffet goes from 11:30 am to 2 pm.
BEBACK- 4 out of 4 stars
Do not miss out on the chicken tikka masala! That's the middle cup in the picture(sorry it's a bit messy). It's my favorite dish at their buffet. To the India Oven management- dont you dare change the recipe! I've tried a handful of other places and theirs are close but do not taste the same. Now I know that different regions of countries have the same dishes but add something here and there that is common in their area. However, India Oven's is the best. It's got somethg to do with the tomato flavor, just a guess.
All their other items that I've eaten are on the tasty side and not bland as I've experienced at some other buffet places. Well, let's just say I've noticed less blandiness- not a word, I know- at this restaurant. I would put their chana masala on the bland side.
I love the idea of not having the naan bread sitting out as it is prepared when you sit at your table. Fresh and hot is the key! And you can get garlic nan at your request at no extra charge.
The atmosphere is enhanced with the music and the decor. The staff do their job, although they may need to smile more sometimes. Right now, it's still my go to for Indian cuisine.
Absolutely delicious. I ordered both chicken and lamb samosas and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked chicken and the pastry was crunchy. The Chickin tiki masala (Spicy) was great. Perfect texture curry seasoned properly. The chicken was moist and well seasoned. The staff was amazing they were very attentive and well manered. The restaurant itself is very clean. Overall a great experience for dine in.Highly recommend if you enjoy Indian cuisine for dine in or catering.
This was my first time at an all-you-can-eat Indian lunch buffet. The servers were very attentive. I told them that it was my first time so they made sure I had everything I wanted. Next time I need to bring some friends to try it out.
