I love this restaurant! As a vegan, a big veggie combo platter is one of my favorite meals, and Queen Sheba does it so well. I've eaten Ethiopian food all over the US and Queen Sheba keeps me coming back. Delicious, nutritious, and I also love supporting a black-owned, woman-owned business. The owner, Zion, is a super friendly and wonderful person.
It was like sharing an afternoon in the Family Dining room.Everyone working took Great Pride in the food. This is how a restaurant should be. Highly recommend. Unless you like the Chains;-(.
Didn't get to try their meat options but I have to definitely recommend their $13.99 vegetarian lunch buffet! It was my first time having Ethiopian food and I have to say, it's really good!! I'm impressed!!! Would recommend the buffet to really get your veggies in! Trust me you need it
Wow! This place is soooo good! I'm so glad they've been able to stay in business for so long because they are the best! The atmosphere is good... there is an indoor area and a back outside area for dining. The service is excellent... you can tell they really appreciate you and they're super patient with persons like myself, who have no idea what to order. But the food... the food is so amazingly good! I took my girlfriend here for our first date because she always wanted to try Ethiopian food, and it knocked her socks off... and she's a high end professional chef! So... do yourself a favor and just order the combo plate... you can order a plate for 2 or more people and it comes on a big platter for sharing, which is super romantic and/or communal. It comes with this awesome thin bread that is like thin squishy pancakes that you rip up and use to eat the amazing selection of food on the platter. Their hibiscus tea is also as delicious as their food. Prices are reasonable... we had a plate for 2, a soda, a hibiscus tea, and tip, and it came out to around $60. Well... well worth it, trust me...!
We recently visited Queen Sheba restaurant and I must say that my experience was truly amazing. The food was simply outstanding. It was spicy, flavorful, and tasted absolutely delicious. We ordered a combo plate of lamb, chicken, and fish, which was incredible. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice and seasoning. It’s amazing how Ethiopian food is so close to Indian especially South Indian food.
The vegetarian curries were also equally impressive. They were packed with flavor and the vegetables were cooked just right.
The service at the restaurant was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to take our orders and the food arrived promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant was also very nice, with comfortable seating and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was perfect.
Amazing food, love their combo plate. I usually get the meat options but took my veg friend here and we got all veg dishes and they were amazing. I always get the combo plates for variety and never had a dish here I didn't love! Come here and you wont regret it.

The buffet is back and it is amazing as always! 🎉💪🌱
You can ask for gluten free injera, too. It is an extra charge but a great option for those who need it!
We first had them at a vegan festival. We were blown away by the flavors and friendly customer service.
The portion size was good and the customer service too.
Only things docked was lipstick on a glass given to us, flies attacking our food, and rice forgotten until the end of the meal.
I'd go back. I also recommend.
Picked up food for takeout. First time having Ethiopian food, we ordered 2 combo platters (one vegetarian) to try a little of everything. The smell was divine! Flavor was amazing. Service was very quick & staff is friendly. While we didn’t dine in the restaurant is very cute inside.
Will definitely be coming back!
Overall had a decent experience here. Upon walking in a lady was a little snippety with me about where I could sit (it was just me, she insisted I take a 2 seater table in the center but I prefer to sit on the outskirts. The place was less than half full and stayed about the same throughout my visit so not too sure why it was such a big deal for her) but a gentleman took over and allowed me to pick an awesome outskirt table.
I highly recommend trying their in house honey wine. I found it delightfully tasty and I don't normally like alcohol. The food was very delicious. I'm glad I came by. The parking for this place is a little wonky being it's downtown. I ordered the lamb and it did not disappoint. The lentils were yummy too. The bready roll ups have a strong lemon like flavor to them but I was told no lemon flavoring is added to them, something about them being fermented. Interesting. The price can be high on some things in relation to the portion size but you're paying for the experience here too imo but to keep that in mind before coming here. I highly recommend this place to those like me who like trying new things. I'm glad I stopped by and I'm grateful this place was within my vicinity today. I would love to see more cultural foods spread out throughout the world.
Have a grateful day 🏵
It was a good experience. Never had Ethiopian food before but was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. I would recommend trying it at least once. If your a person who likes eating exotic finger foods this is a place you definitely should try...

One of my favorite things about Queen Sheba is their amazing lunch buffet. They offer a wide variety of dishes at very reasonable prices, making it the perfect spot for a quick and satisfying lunch. And let me tell you, their freshly made injera bread is an absolute must-try.
But it's not just the lunch buffet that's amazing - everything on their menu is delicious. From the lentils to the ata kilt and everything in between, every dish is packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. And don't forget to try their Ethiopian tea - it's a masterpiece in its own right.
