Love this Bistro!. Have been coming for years - One of my favorite spots to take out of town visitors. Every meal whether breakfast, lunch or dinner have been perfect...Frequent the one in davis as well...Would highly recommend and as for parking,,,patience people it is a neighborhood bistro tucked amongst the quaint homes in the area.. Hope you enjoy it as much as I....
I would recommend this place. Not too long a wait to be seated. The COFFEE was excellent...I need my coffee in the morning and this woke me up. Good selection of drink specials, but try the Bloody Mary, it's the best. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. Now the food...best blueberry pancakes ever, they are large and you do have the option of ordering just one. They are fluffy and light. The brook trout hash was filled with fish and veggies. If fish isn't your thing, it can be substituted with any other meat, try the apple sausage, yum! I ordered it with poached eggs and the eggs were done perfectly. I'm really a fan of breakfast and there are very few places in Sacramento I would recommend, and this place is one of them. It's a great neighborhood place and an excellent place to bring friends and family! They can also host private gatherings. I know I sound like an advertisement, but this place is top notch, and I'll do anything to keep local artisan businesses thriving! Did say the service is excellent? The service is the best!
Fabulous!. I have been coming here for years and it has been consistently delish!
Excellent bistro feel... Great breakfast with French toast that rivals tower cafe...
I love their tomato bisque. It has a nice edge to it and it's a very deep red. Another thing I am a fan of is the steak with gnocchi. Oh, sweet sweet gnocchi....
Good food but service was slow. I would go back again.
Yummy!. I went here with a neighbor for dinner a few weeks ago, and I found it to be an average bistro.
The food was good, the staff really pushed drinks even though it was not happy hour, and I don't drink. I don't think she was listening the who 20 times I said, "No thanks, I am fine. I don't drink." I got a bit annoyed by that, but other than this; I enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
It is not somewhere I would make plans to go to, but definitely a place to stop by for a quick bite if hunger panges erupt with in while enroute to a destination.
Try it, you might like it!
Always a good bet for a great meal! Love the salads and I have always had great luck with their soups. I crave this place in the winter.it is wonderful rainy day food:) But, beware sometimes the air-conditioning in thus place is simply polar. I always bring a sweater!
33rd St. Goodness.... Great place to grab a great paninni sandwitch and a basket of fresh fries for lunch... or take your time with the decent wine menu and an entree. Never been dissapointed here... after I found a parking spot anyway (they're hard to come by). Great salads, spectacular homemade stuffed pasta, and by far the best paninni sandwitch I've ever had...
Ask to sit outside when the weather's right... it doesn't get much better!
Beautifully upgraded (and expanded??) from its former name. Would be an excellent place to host an event or party. Atmosphere and detail was wonderfully refreshing from the old staple of its past. We will definitely be back. The Mexican coffee looked enticing but had the chop salad.
Fish tacos, yes, I need to start here. The fish tacos are amazing, I love sea food, but is always hard finding the right place, the fish tacos are packed with crispy fried fish and full of well balanced flavors, simple yet perfect. I spend my last summer vacation in Cancun, Tulum, and Playa del Carmen Mexico and there was nothing this good, be my guess and go compare. The family enjoyed their cheese hamburgers and fries. The hamburger bread was a little soft, but was good. Customer service was amazing, Philip was great and on point, making sure we had everything we needed, and that we were satisfied. This place is a must where quality is priority, if you looking for quantity this place is not for you, sure is pricey but that’s every where. The restaurant is clean, and it looks beautiful, I will be back soon, and eat fish tacos again.
Delicious food. We loved the flavors of the Afghan food they prepared - both the Mantu and the Samosa were so flavorful. Also had the fish tacos which were tasty!
Wonderful family working together in this restaurant- they all took pride in the restaurant and served us so graciously.
Rear parking lot is small; non-dairy and vegan selections also available; outdoor patio seating; nice bar; pleasant & helpful staff. We enjoyed our first brunch there, with Lynzie as our server. What a pleasant way to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
Very tasty food. The brunch burger was very good, and the fries were exceptional. Good service (not great, given there were very few customers and we waited a bit, but attentive when present and fun) and a beautiful space.
Love the new look! We just stopped in for a drink. I can recommend the Espresso Martini. Can't wait to go back for dinner
I love this place! Nice, savory comfort food that is reasonably priced and a great wine by the glass list. Drinks are well-made and service is top notch. It’s a family owned business and the owners deeply care about the customer experience. If you go for brunch, I highly recommend ordering the French toast.
We enjoy this place! They serve good food and I really like the variety in the menu. A few of my favorites are: ahi tuna appetizer, they have the best tomato soup!!, so far all the salads I’ve tried were delicious. Check out this place! I think food-wise it’s even better than 33rd Bistro.
Fish tacos were good. Nice atmosphere. The chairs outside were a little uncomfortable but that’s OK. The service was great.
Had a large Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was good. The pakora appetizer was made with potatoes and I prefer zucchini pakora. The service was good. The bathroom was a unisex bathroom and tidy.
