Had lunch here and really enjoyed it. The food is very well presented and prepared. Our server was excellent and made our visit extra special. I had the grilled ham and cheese - a simple dish I know but these guys made a beautiful version of this classic. We also got the Truffles Tots for the table - they were excellent! - definitely get the Tots!!!
This was actually the best brunch I think I've had all year. I've been to cafeteria before but it's been a long time. I was supposed to go with some friends but they canceled so I went alone for Xmas eve brunch and I'm so glad that I did! Everything was perfect! I had the Avocado toast and Berry waffles with a strawberry lemonade. Every bite was pure bliss, 10/10 I ate everything!
I absolutely loved my experience here! Three of us showed up on a Saturday evening and were able to immediately get a table, though I do recommend making reservations for larger parties because it is pretty popular. Our waitress quickly brought out our waters and took our orders. All of us enjoyed our alcoholic beverages and they definitely didn’t skimp on the liquor like chain restaurants. Our food came out incredibly fast! I ordered the roasted beef and it was fantastic. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were polite.
We had a wonderful dinner before seeing a show down the street. The food was great, the wait staff wad super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was chic and lively. We will definitely come here again when visiting Sacramento!
This place was an incredible breakfast choice. I wish we were able to try lunch and dinner as well while we were in town. It was easy to make reservations for two. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing. Our hostess & waiter were great. I had the “Girls best friend drink” 100% recommend. My boyfriend opted for bottomless mimosas since 1 is $10 where bottomless is only $16 only need to enjoy two to get your moneys worth and our waiter was on top of it. You truly never saw the bottom he was always around to fill it to the top again. The food was great! The waiter was quick to provide answers for dietary restriction questions which was awesome. I ordered the waffles and my boyfriend ordered chicken fried steak. I ordered a small plate of chicken strips on the side which were ridiculously good and their house made ranch and chili sauce was so so good. After breakfast we walked around capital park to walk off all the good food. It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning. 100% recommend and will be coming back next time we are in sacramento. :)
There is plenty to like about Cafeteria 15L (named for being on the corner of 15th Ave. and L Street). The food is great: I enjoyed the French onion soup and the Rigatoni Bolognese, and everyone enjoyed their choices. Our server Miguel was a pro, and provided excellent service, courteous and accurate for a party of 7. The restaurant is quite large, bigger than it looks from outside, with indoor and outdoor seating. And there is a marvelous little optical illusion in the restrooms. You feel like you're looking into a mirror, but there's no one looking back at you. What you're actually looking at, is the hand washing room in the other restroom. But the decor is an exact mirror of your side, so you feel like you should see a reflection. But you don't. It's quite clever.
Great place to grab some drinks and have dinner. Shrimp Scampi is a must. The watermelon and heirloom tomato salad and spinach artichoke dip were great appetizers to share. Burger was also great! Overall good experience and fresh food. Décor was also nice and clean.
We had a delicious brunch the day before running CIM! Would highly recommend the french toast with maple cream and berries, and a delicious truffle tater tots too.
This place is highly recommended and I've never seen a nice restaurant with professional and wonderful service which Bill has already served us. We would like to request the manager to encourage their staff who satisfied the customers. He was super nice, respectful, with professional attitude. The restaurant usually close 8:30 pm but he hepled us to celebrate my birthday with bringing us candle and other stuff at 8:58 pm. Thank you again Bill.
It’s lunchtime with the office crew on Tuesday (4/11). Was able to walk in and get a table for about 12 of us with no wait. The place is clean and welcoming (5/5). Service was very good (5/5). Wait time between ordering and receipt of food was quick…. Maybe a 10 minute wait or so (5/5). Food tasted very good, all served fresh and hot from the kitchen (5/5). Overall, very good experience. Would definitely return. If you’re in the area, stop by and grab a bite to eat. Prices are a bit higher than other eateries. We spent between $20-$25 per person for lunch and that’s with getting water as a drink. Value to Price ratio (4/5). Overall experience (5/5).
