Very good food, pizza probably better than Zanata's. Have to try the brisket cheese fries. Not sure what else to say, I'm a big fan. Good service
Everything was very good. We started with the prosciutto wrapped jalapeños. They have quite a kick. Then, I had the sriracha beer cheese soup. It was very tasty. I had a Hefeweizen to drink. After having been in Germany last month it was as good or better than any I had there. We shared the grilled cheese and brisket sandwich. I really enjoyed it. The bread was toasted just right and there was a nice balance of meat and cheese. It came with fries which were thin and good. We also shared a piggy pizza with pulled pork, figs, onions and cheese. It was good too but I had to take some home.
First time here. I came for lunch the temperature outside was 102 degrees when I walked in. I was blasted with cold A/C what a awesome concept to begin with. The hostess sat me at a tall table by the bar. My waitress Madeline was right there with the menus. I ordered a side salad which is a pretty work of art for a salad almost to pretty to eat. I had the Turkey Pastrami with fries it hit the spot today. I am not big on flavored teas but the Peach Mango blend they serve is pretty good. Looked like they had a pretty good lunch crowd not packed but people coming and going. Will be back
The grub is good! The salmon was moist and delish, the Blue Kolbe w/bacon burger was BIG and tasty. The beer I drink, well, this place won’t serve it, for it has it’s own original tap brews…Anyways, like the Terminator said, “I’ll be Back”.!
One of our all time favorite places. Menu is always fresh and new. Truly one of the few places you can order literally anything off of the menu and you won’t be disappointed.
It takes a lot to get a 5-Star Rating nowadays but this place earned it.
Last Friday night, we were staying in Garland and wanted to go to some unique locally owned/operated eatery. Bankhead Brewing looked good and we arrived there just before 7 PM.
They don't take reservations, it was cold (February) and there was a 45-minute wait. So we waited and so did couple after couple and we eventually got our table and server and from there on the specialty beers, food, and service was great!
I asked what customers raved about and ordered the meatloaf which was well-presented and quite filling. My wife took the other recommendation of the chicken-fried-chicken and again, well-presented, tasty and more than filling. They had some great looking specials but we stuck with the customer faves for our first visit.
While the desert menu was good, they had an off-the-menu strawberry shortcake that was fantastic!
Out the door, I believe that we spent around $75 for two specialty beers, entrees, desert, tax, and 20% tip.
I would recommend this place for that somewhat special night out and it appears that quite a few people used this place as a group night out.
Great small town feel. Just 20 minutes outside of Dallas off of George Bush. Pretty good selection of home taps, they even have some home grown seltzer’s. Dinner dishes are awesome.
I came to the area for a visit with my brother and I enjoyed the vibe. I had a flight of beers and they were all great. If you haven’t tried the brussel sprouts please do so great small bite plate. I will definitely be back next time I visit. Great patio space by the way.
Great service and food as usual. They have plenty of gluten free options. Tried both old fashions cocktails and loved both! Best I have had so far! They were great with my dog too, made sure she had water.
