I love to eat here. The people are always polite and friendly. The food is always good. They are attentive and very personable. They'll make you feel comfortable while you eat. Good down to earth experience

I stopped in for breakfast, this was my first visit. Upon entering I was told I could sit wherever I wished, I chose a table up front next to the window. A menu was quickly brought to my table and I ordered an Orange Juice. I went over the menu and by the time my beverage arrived I was ready to order. I decided on French Toast.
As I waited I looked around, this is a medium sized diner with seating for about 50 inside including 10 at the front counter that runs along the south side of the dining area. The rest of the seating consists of booths running along the north and rear walls and several tables running down the center. There is additional seating for about 15 on the front patio. The diner was very clean, floor, tables, and counters all looked spotless.
My order arrived, they took the time to make it look nice and not just throw it on the plate, something I always appreciate being that I am one of those people that photographs my food.
The French Toast tasted as good as it looked and I thought it was a good value too.
Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food was good and the service quick and helpful. Nice place for group gathering.
I fell in LOVE!!! with WAYSIDE CAFE!! Jamie is the best very attentive, never missed a beat she even suggested things that I forgot I even wanted lol.. The prices are great very home some food I'm coming back! Ask for Jamie! All the staff is friendly I highly recommend this place A MUST HAVE.
Great small little local diner. The service was great, and had one of the best chicken fried steaks and biscuits/gravy I've ever had. Serving size was generous, would definitely recommend.

I’m originally from South Texas where we have country gravy and biscuits, but coming here to wayside café “WOW” it was awesome, the chicken fried steak was to die for. I really appreciate you guys with the awesome customer service and you didn’t treat me like a customer, you guys treated me like family.

We had the medium sized biscuits and gravy, it was delicious and very filling.
Went here for the first time with family and really enjoyed it. Everyone loved the food and it's a really nice little place for a casual dinner. They also do breakfast and lunch so I'll have to return for those. I ordered the pastrami burger and it was delicious. Some of the family ordered fish and chips, spaghetti, chili, etc and really loved it. Recommend.
Always a pleasure we had been coming only for 2 weeks and it's our 5th time eating here .. I've been cooking for over 19 years in multiple restaurants and love my burgers but I have to admit it the burgers are delicious that California style burger was just perfect it's our go to place now and service well always great... today I had steak and eggs and well picture saids it all
