Excellent staff, excellent food, definitely going back to try something else. There was a small snafu with our group and they fixed it so quickly and wonderfully, my head was spinning!!! From the manager to the hostess to our waiter, all exceptional. The pizza is amazing, just the perfect hint of garlic in the crust! The meat and cheese board had some surprising choices that when put together were very very yummy!!
There luckily is no shortage of really good beer wherever you go these days. Unfortunately there isn't enough great beer. Maybe because Forager is creating the majority of it. As a fan of intense, flavorful brews I was not disappointed. There were several offerings that I never would have dreamed of, but were well beyond what I would have expected. I didn't try the food as my wife and I decided to try Newts (eh), but on any return trips will definitely be eating there too. Along with a great, helpful bartender the experience was awesome.
Food was absolutely EXCELLENT! Portions were more than expected. Both entrees needed salt, but that's really a great thing, because if someone were following a lower sodium diet, these would work! We each got dessert. Bad idea 😅! The desserts were HUGE & could easily be shared. We were so pleased with our visit. ❤️
Forager has remained an iconic spot for good food, drinks, and atmosphere in Rochester. It was our first time going to a restaurant since the pandemic started 2 years ago. The selection of their sours and beers was astounding as we love sours and they were fruit forward and tasty. The stroganoff had quality beef, big pieces of mushroom, and the sauce was well seasoned and didn't need any salt or pepper. We ate at the bar and the server was very professional and quick. My husband got a burger and fries. The burger was moist, well seasoned, great sauce and pickles. The fries were too soft for my liking but everything else was delicious. Highly recommend!
Their Pad Thai (now Forager Noodle) is AMAZING! A great place for a bit to get, or to grab a drink. They also have a coffee shop attached and a nice gift shop. Additionally, they have two rooms for events and a nice open main area. Parking can get full, but there's plenty of street parking if you look around. Their friendly staff makes this place a must visit in Rochester!
Absolutely delicious food, inviting environment and 5-star service provided by Nick! Amazing wait staff is really the foundation of a great restaurant. 100% recommend! Plus I can always find unique, fun gifts in Gathered Goods. I love picking up closing gifts for clients here!
Amazing beer and food. Fantastic vegetarian options. We had plenty of leftovers and ordered pizzas for the road. The beers are creative and delicious. I don't normally go with saisons or sour beers but the ingredients were expertly blended. All in a gorgeous indoor/outdoor setting with live music most evenings. Our new favorite!
I’m really glad I got a coupon for a free pizza from my employer and discovered this place. The food and decorations are very delicious and pleasant. I had the pig pie and I’m definitely go back again for more pizzas or brunch!
Great place to try local beer and good food. No reservations. First come, first serve. Great Belgian beer. Klitzki salad, pizza , jackfruit based jackmelt were good. Don't miss the live music. Worth a return visit.
Amazing!! The atmosphere is incredible, the art and decor are engaging, and the murals will take your breathe away. Their fooooooood.....🤤drool worthy🤤! Service was quick, thorough, and kind. One of my kids actually got sick on the patio and was worried the staff were upset with her...one staff actually came over and reassured her with sweet words of encouragement! 🥰💚 The wood fired pizzas were delicious, the birria bowl was the insanely good, and my kids loved their mac&cheese.
