Good pizza and efficient. Good location in the South Wedge. More of a take out piece but they have a couple of tables to eat there but better choice to take it a park and eat nearby.
Never been to Rochester, we had to pick some one up. My son wanted to try good New York Pizza!!!! Salvatore's was perfect and delicious. Ya'll need to expand to New England. Because this Mainer is gonna craving your food!
This location specifically is one of my favourite places to get pizza for a two reasons...
First, the quality is consistent. The dough/crust is always cooked through, has the right balance of chewy and fluffy without being too thick that it makes the cheese/toppings feel insignificant.
Second, the options! Not only does this place have toppings that aren't going at every pizza place (like kalamata olives), they also make it easy to customise each half of the pizza. My mom is a pepperoni and onions gal, but I like kalamata olives, mushrooms, banana peppers, etc. The website makes it easy to order the pizza half my way and half my mom's way and they always get it right, too. They do the same with an order of wings — half hot, half mild? No problem.
The consistently, quality, and ease of customisation keep this location a go to option for me. Note that I've not had the same great experiences with other locations though. This one is special.
Theres always great big slices of pizza!! Its literally one of the BEST pizza places in Rochester. I got a pepperoni and Italian sausage super slice with extra cheese.
Picked up a fish fry this past Friday and the middle was not cooked all they way and the fish was soaked like it was sitting in grease..normally when the owner is around its no problem but I think it was a younger crew this time with the swearing which other workers told them to cool it...other than that the place is the place

I went with my family to spend some time and we had a great time. They were very kind and attentive. And we didn't need anything at any time. Because they were always on the lookout at all times. I fully recommend them. It's cool to go for a while to see games and sports points. Anyway, I really liked the place and the food.
Love this salvatores. I stopped going to some of the others near me due to overcooked pizza or food arriving cold. The staff is always friendly.
So I order from this shop as well as the one in East Rochester. The food is always on point. Today though given the holiday and craziness it was ridiculously delish!!

Recently relocated to Roc. Originally from the north but lived in the South for last 15 years. Decided to try Salvatores so called in for take out. I informed staff this was my first time trying it. Even though I didn’t think prices were too bad, employee confidently explained that their pizza may be a bit more expensive but it’s worth it. She was right!! This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Got the Ham and Pineapple and was not disappointed. Will definitely eat again and recommend to my coworkers. 👍
