I went in as a whim just to check it out. I instantly smelled foods I knew was going to be good. I ordered the ribs with yams and green beans. Came with cornbread. Everything was amazing. I saw other people eating wings that looked sooo good I went the next day for some chicken wings and mac n cheese. This place has amazing food and I'm a very picky eater.

Shimmys is a soul food adults candy store! With an amazing atmosphere,i was greeted by friendly staff and was able to order my favorite chicken fried hard!!

I went in yesterday night for the first time since I was craving some good soul food & let me tell you I was satisfied!!! Good ppl good service & of course good food. Loved the banana pudding 👍🏽👌🏽🥰🤤

I live close to this place and I am so glad that they are close to me. We we're greeted by Peaches. She Is so awesome! She talked with us and made us feel right at home. Our food was served quickly and was hot and fresh. The greens were the best that I have had in a long time! The haddock was so good! Everything was great! We will be back again and again!!
