Uhh thanks for being my new go to, I’ve tried multiple garbage plate hot spots throughout chili and Henrietta and so far this is my favorite place after only one visit! Even though it $2 more a plate you get way more in one plate then you would if you got bill grays, flavors are great, it’s got a nice kick to it too! Took me a while to finish this plate and I broke a sweat doing it 😅
First time eating at Chili Hots and will definitely be going back. Cheeseburger plate with Mac salad and home fries and it was amazing! Large portions. The meat sauce is delicious, and spicy, so you might want to get it on the side if you're sensitive to heat. 👍
Last Sunday evening November 27th I was taking my son back to College after a long day and a lot of driving we saw we could get to chili hots before 9pm. We thought they were open til 10 the new winter hours were 9pm. We got there at 8:50PM and we asked if were ok to get service and with a smile and great service with no problem at we got our food that was amazing!! Thank you for great customer service that we do not see too much anymore and excellent food one of the best garbage plates I ever had!!
Wonderful! You enter the restaurant, a person at the counter takes your order and you pay. Sit down and your order is delivered or they call your name and you pick up. Served hot, get your own drink, no fuss!
Simple delicious food that was made to order and hot! The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable about their food selections, and the atmosphere was simple and cozy. The only negative I have is that their drink selection is limited.
Great food, great service.The Sky Burger is my favorite. Shakes are great, nice and thick. I've never had a bad meal from there. Probably one of the better plates in the area. Make sure you are clear with your order. I've ordered smaller items like hot sauce on the side, and failed to find it. Other than that I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Hence the 4 stars, no one is perfect.
Fried pickles, and fried mushrooms were AWESOME!! The portions were generous too!

The Italian sausage sandwich was skimpy and way overcooked
I'm withholding judgement on their sandwiches for now. I will try a different sandwich next time.

I hadn't been to Chili Hots in a long time. In a post-pandemic world, it's hard to find any eatery open late anymore, much less one with a quality staff. I was drawn in once more, and I was pleasantly impressed. Red hots were perfectly caramelized and juicy, and the steak plate was flavorful and well balanced.
Southern burger is downright amazing, you can taste every specific ingredient used to perfect this dish. You get a hardy meal with any choice of two sides for an extremely good price. Service was fast and generous. I highly recommend this restaurant any time of the day. You won't be disappointed.

As a GrubHub driver, I have to give this place high marks based on the occasions that I've done a delivery from here. The staff are always friendly and professional, and they work hard to make sure the food is hot and the order is accurate. I know that some of the drivers . . . aren't the greatest, but I've always been treated well here, and I always recommend this restaurant for diners in the area.
UPDATE: Well, after five years in Rochester (I'm a Los Angeles native), I figured it was time to try a garbage plate. I was always reluctant to try one, but I ate all varieties of cuisine back home, so why not a plate? I just moved to Gates, and I've always liked doing deliveries from here, so this was my first choice. I ordered the white hot plate, and my dad (similarly uninitiated to the ways of the garbage plate) had the cheeseburger plate.
Well, this won't be the last time we order plates from here. If you're counting calories, then these might not be your first choice, but they were just absolutely delicious. I devoured mine, and even my older dad (who has always been the slowest eater I've known) plowed through his quickly--what he could eat in one sitting, anyway. As I've always experienced from my deliveries from here, the staff was friendly, and the food was on-time and hot. I couldn't recommend Chili Hots more, no matter your plate "experience" level.
