The floor is very slippery in the back. They claim they can't fix it. Feels like grease on the floor.

I don't know if there's been a change in the Manager but the restaurant seem to be a lot different. Great customer service and the food was great as well. We had the Country Fried Steak with Gravy.
The gravy was seasoned well but was a pinch sweet in my opinion. It call with eggs and I asked for over medium and they come over easy but they tasted so good with my mable rye that I didn't complain. Home fries hit the spot eveytime
Only ordered the “Chicken Bites” I asked for both sauces and apparently the kitchen didn’t want to give me both Buffalo Sauce and Country Sweet… but I like to mix them together
But the waitress was able to do it for me
We visited East Ridge family diner early on a Friday. This ranks high on my list of diners. I had a broiled seafood dinner while my husband opted for breakfast. The cup of clam chowder I had was impressive. Way better than most. The broiled seafood was tasty but could have used a bit more flavor on the fish. My husband enjoyed the breakfast food. The service was well timed. I wholeheartedly recommend this place as you get a good bang for the buck!
Great go-to place, soild family fare. We had Greek and chicken salads. Also the BBQ Rib/Chicken combo.
Everything was good without complaints.
The BBQ was amazing probably best I've had. Between fall off the bone perfect and holds together as you bite in.
Left very happy and feeling that we will be back.

It's my first time dining at East Ridge Diner & Steak House. Overall a very pleasant experience. My friend had the barbecue chicken with the sides. I had the Tennessee Pork Chops with home fries and Mac salad. First the pork chops. Two nice sized pieces of boneless pork chops. The Mac salad was actually the shining star of the meal. I have had Mac salad at many different places, but none could compare to the Mac salad at East Ridge. As for the pork, it had a great taste, and the flavor of the sauce was great. The onion rings were good, but now we get to the reason I could not give the review five stars. Both the onion rings and the home fries were cold. Not warm, but cold. But they both had good flavor so it wasn't a total loss. The waitress offered to heat things up, but I declined. It was the waitress that brought the review back to the four star mark. Christin was very attentive, and stopped by the table at least five times if not more. They should be glad they have her. All in all, it was a good experience, and I can definitely say I will return. Make sure when you go, get the Mac salad. You won't be disappointed.
Although we've lived near Rochester for years, we'd never been to East Ridge Diner — until my nephew invited us to meet him and his family there for breakfast. The parking lot was full, so I was worried we'd have a long wait. I didn't realize how HUGE this place was inside. It's twice the size of the diners we usually go to. No wait at all. Everything was great, including the prices. We'll definitely be back again.
This diner is very clean and full of quick and friendly service. Food comes fast and is really good! Personally I love the Club BLT’s. They are so huge and hard to finish. The home fries that come with the plates make the Rochester’s garbage plate a more unique experience.
We are visiting from Long Island NY and this has got to be the best diner food I have had up here. Amazing and so delicious!!! I had the Swiss burger with onions on toasted rye bread… it was the best patty melt I have ever had…. Coleslaw had pineapple in it and was absolutely delicious!!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place besides wishing they had a location on Long Island!
Ice place, we were coming back through Rochester from a vacation and were looking for a place to eat. We try to go to new places and local ones in particular. Very impressed with this place. All the food was very good. Club sandwiches, rum French toast and my pulled pork was tasty. Service was good and I recommend stopping if you are in the area.
I recently discovered this restaurant, reminded me of hometown restaurant that has the personal care and attention to its customers! The food (brunch) was awesome!! Will definitely go back again!!
