The best and most fresh flavorful foods ive ever ate. The tea is rejuvenating! The people are great. The owner is very personable and kind. Staff is friendly and quick with everything. I would recommend this place to everyone. Great food!!!
I have had a lot of Indian food in my life. But, this has been by far the best I’ve ever had. I loved the people and the service. I am from Indiana and if I ever go back to Rochester, NY, Thali of India will for sure be my go to place. Please go and try Thali of India. And I am sure you will be amazed.
The food is very flavorful and is not spicy hot. Indian background music at a good volume level where you can have a conversation but still hear the music. Restaurant overall clean, restrooms too. Lunch all you can eat buffet on a Sunday was $15 with refill drinks included, hot milky spiced masala chai, and water. Parking lot is right outside the door. Waiters were friendly and knowledgeable. Different selections for dessert including four different ice cream flavors.
Ate here today, the food was amazing!!!! Everything came out fresh and delicious. We ordered butter chicken and a mixed grill. The service was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back for the lunch buffet!
10 stars!!! TBH, this was my first time having Indian cuisine, and I was blown away. First of all, when I called in my order, the caller was extremely pleasant and prompt. The meal took the time stated, and they were busy! There were several people waiting for pick-up orders and people in the dining room. The atmosphere was very nice and people were really enjoying themselves. There was also a gentleman playing the flute. I was welcomed warmly by staff and picked up my food. The portions were generous. The Chicken Tikka Masala and chicken kebab were beyond delicious and flavorful. Everything was fresh and refreshing. Thank you, Thali of India, for a beautiful dinner. I can't wait to try the buffet.

Incredible Curry Lamb, big portion, rice was well prepared, not sticky...Garlic Naan was delicious. Veggie Samosa was fried to perfection... Lots of menu options. Highly recommend this place if you love Indian food.
Really good food here, fast service, and friendly waitstaff. I've always loved to go on to Indian restaurants and being asked what kind of heat level I want. I opted for the hot and I was not disappointed. Make sure if you do go down that road you get yourself a Mango Lassie to ease the pain lol. All in all the food was very tasty and fresh and we were able to order sort of a platter that the two of us were able to share kind of like along the lines of a platter you would get at an Ethiopian restaurant which I found awesome. Give this place a try if you're in the Henrietta area.

Good selection. Nice Indian food (my choices were very well made.) The portions were also very good. Won’t be disappointed if you go there hungry. You can finish the plate with satisfaction.
Very good lunch buffet for only $14.99! I wish there were spicier options, but im sure if you order you can get it spicier. Friendly staff, good food, clean.
We ordered Paneer Kadhai which was served a bit cold and Dry. We asked fix that by making bit more gravy based and heat it up. They were so kind to make another plat with proper gravy and bring out quickly and didn't charged for that. Great customer service and very friendly staff. Bit pricy and expensive budget wise.
The best Indian buffet we can find in Rochester. I’ve tried most of the Indian restaurants in Rochester. But finally I prefer this one for Indian cuisine. Every item in the buffet tastes great with a very reasonable price when compared to other. Most of the time I spend around $14 including tip. It’s worth it.
Chicken curries are my favorite here. Tandoor chicken is perfectly cooked and tastes delicious. All items are worth tasting.

I had Thali of India cater my wedding June 26, 2021 (this review is long overdue), and they were spectacular from start to finish! The gentlemen took care of us even before we even made an official decision to choose a caterer. We went to the restaurant to try their cuisine first, and it was delicious. The waiter was also a sweetheart and fun to speak with. The service was friendly and fast. On the wedding day, our food was delivered and set up on time. On top of that, they provided cutlery, serving spoons, and left the food warmers to allow the food to stay fresh. EVERYONE, even my guests who do not usually enjoy Indian cuisine, LOVED THE FOOD! The Veggie Manchurian was the biggest hit. They are also very accommodating with your budget, and we got a great deal of food for our wedding; so much more than we expected, to the point of which people were happily taking food home by the bags full. I highly recommend Thali of India for a date or any catering needs, and hope they continue providing great service and delicious food :)
