GREAT FOOD....GREAT SERVICE. Our dining group meets once a month for dinner and December's choice was Michael's Valley Grill. Lucky us!
When we arrived our table was ready and nicely set with white tablecloths and holiday-themed salt and pepper shakers. Our waitress, Jamie, and her partner, Danielle, served us efficiently and with smiles. There were other large groups of holiday diners,but the staff neither missed a beat nor seemed rushed. Our dinners included baskets of fresh, crusty bread; a unique and tasteful grilled romaine salad; a melt-in-your-mouth salmon special with capers; and a lovely chicken French. Though it was one of the pricier dinners our group has enjoyed, it was well-worth it, and many of us will be return diners to this fine restaurant.
This is a great little restaurant. Wonderful food and good wait staff. It's one of the few where you can still hear what your table mates are talking about. Nice cloth napkins and tablecloths. It's no more expensive than others in its class and offers quality drinks at a friendly bar.
The food was awesome. I went with my fiancé and I got the chipotle shrimp pasta, wow it was so good and fresh. We also got the bang bang shrimp appetizer which had great flavor. I would definitely go here again. It isn't a place you should go if you're on a budget. We spent $60 with tip and had no alcohol.
Michaels Valley Grill. Went to Dinner last Friday at Michael's . The Sword Fish special was oustanding. Very nice portion and cut. Very well prepared and seasoned.
The pricing was reasonable and consistent with the quality of the food and service. By the way the server was very attentive and not intrusive.
We en,joyed our dinner so much that we made reservations to return with some friends this Tuesday. I will add pictures this time

An excellent eating experience!. We (a party of four) had an unforgettable dinner on 6/9/2012 at Michael's Valley Grill. The table itself, the service, the food (including the beef carpaccio), and the Gemuetlichkeit were all perfect. I am looking forward to a future dinner at this excellent restaurant.
Excellent. Everytime I have a bad meal that costs me a bundle I think... why didn't I just go too Michael's? That is what makes a great restaurant is consistency. That's the biggest challenge that restaurants face is being able to produce excellent quality meals, with exceptunal service over and over again. Michael's has never let me down. I order the giant steak with garlic mashed and a nice red wine and I'm happy. This is the best restaurant in Rochester. It's not cheap, but the food quality, the cuts of meats, the grade of seasfood is so much higher than their competitors.
We love this place!. Michael's Valley Grill is our favorite restaurant. We have always had great meals. We often meet friends for a drink at the bar and really appreciate the live music! My top choices include the shrimp appetizer, the charred romaine salad, and any salmon dish. My husband often chooses the scallops but the pasta choices are winners too. We have recommended this place to many friends who are now regulars as well!
Never disappoints. Michael's has become one of our "go-to" favorites. Although not inexpensive, the food is always superb and the service excellent.
Had a great meal here!. I had never even heard of this restaurant and some friends recommended we go here for dinner. We had the shrimp appetizer, which was really good- and two very reasonably priced bottles of wine.... All four of our dinners were excellent- salmon, steak, chicken, and salad- plus desserts- all were far above my expectations. I would recommend this restaurant highly!
From the outside the restaurant doesn't look like anything special but once you enter, well let's just say well done, upscale but not fussy, and very relaxing.
The Waite staff is excellent, and we were a table of 4, that had to make a reservation change 4 times! Very accommodating.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and good portions. My daughter and I shared a dessert, yummy.

Amazing food. Every course more delicious than the next. Service was phenomenal. Everyone there made us feel special! Even the Executive Chef came by to check how things were. Our server Andrea was amazing - kind, knowledgeable and just a true pleasure. We were very impressed with the food and service. I would give more than five stars if I was able to! Thank you!
Recently had dinner with a group of friends. Atmosphere was nice. Service attentive! Food was ok. Three of us ordered the Berkshire Pork Chop. All of us agreed it was definitely dry. Edible yes. But it wasn't worth the $42 price.
Dinner with friends is always a blast here! Everyone loved dinner: from pork to calamari to greens and beans. The greens could have used a little garlic, IMO but still good! Kudos to the new owners for staying on top of tasting EVERYTHING that comes out of the kitchen!-- that's the only way!
Had the nicest time with a dear friend , food was outstanding, I had the braised short ribs that literally melted in my mouth & my friends had the grilled swordfish special she said was one of the best she ever had ! Drinks were fabulous & the whole staff were exceptional!! Can’t wait to go back !!
From the outside of the building and it’s location, I would have never have gone to this place had it not been a recommendation. I am so glad we did! The food was delicious! The executive chef came out two times to speak to tables and ask how their meals were which was nice. Definitely will be back!
Service tonight was great as always, the staff definitely work together as a team to keep things running smooth. The chef and owners were out and about making sure things were going well. Food was delicious and drinks too!

Took my wife & family for her bday and I Have to say the food was great and the service was definitely A Plus. Our server Christopher was awesome we loved our drinks and the hospitality was top notch I will definitely come back again, My wife enjoyed her swordfish dish.
