Great spot. The upstairs is a whole mood. Just the right amount of everything. First time trying hookah. It was great.

Coming from a city like Miami, and visiting Richmond for the first time I didn’t know what to expect with late night options to eat. My niece suggested Liquid Cafe. Everyone who knows me knows I really like nice places, so all she kept saying was I promise this will be the best fried chicken you’ve had in your life. Okay, the ambiance is nothing to write about, especially since we sat upstairs, but if you like to smoke hookah while enjoying your meal they have that to offer. I start every business at 3 stars and they were down to 2 stars, the waitress was really sweet, back up to 3 stars. It took 45 minutes to get our food, back down to 2 stars , one of us got the wrong order, down to 1 star, and then it happen. I tasted the chicken and shrimp, and I just looked at my niece and said “This is freaking delicious” it was like an explosion of fried chicken flavor in my mouth. Back up to 4 stars. I took them back up to 4 stars, because they advertise themselves for the amazing flavor of their food, not the ambiance or being quick, and they didn’t lie, their food is amazing. My suggestion is call in your order, get it to go, or come with friends ready to sit a while and laugh while you wait for the most amazing Fried Chicken you’ve ever had. Enjoy Xoxo Lorenzo!
I love the food. The cooks are great, they go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Shae & Dija are beautiful spirits that love to take care of your every need and they're very attentive. I never had to ask for a refill.....I practically eat here at least 2x's a wk
Stopped by for a dinner date. Service was great, very attentive. Food was prompt and delicious and the drinks were something special. Spur of the moment but a great choice. Noticed they had a second floor. Going back!
Honestly cant believe I live on the same block as this place and havent heard more about it. Worth ever dollar. Chicken was nicely seasoned, the seafood platter though was amazing. Nothing worse than a crab cake with all filler but this baby had meat. Also the mac and cheese is so similar to my moms home made so I know the food is made with passion. Cant wait to order again.
Came in for a quick bite after a concert, was more than surprised by the food quality! We got the 2 crabcakes that come with fries, man am I going to be craving these crispy as heck fries later, I just know it. And the crab cakes were so juicy and hot.
On top of that, the staff were so friendly and personable~
I wish this place showed up on the map easier, it's kind of hidden but it's a gem for sure.
One of the best spots in Richmond. It's cozy and fun, like going to your homeboy/girl's house and kicking back. The music is great and the service is awesome. Don't think you're about to walk in and be a rude-ass though and think people will take it. They don't play lol.
The food is AMAZING. The shrimp is the best I've had anywhere. It's so fresh and it doesn't have the dirty taste. Oh, and they're JUMBO for real. The fries are amazing too and the seasoning tastes great.
The drinks will have you lit so be responsible! I enjoyed both experiences at Liquid. My best friend was in from Atlanta and she made me go back a second day in a row. It's open late on night where you need good food and a dope atmosphere.

Last night was my first time ordering here through grubhub. I was happy with the quality of the food, and how good it was. I can't wait until it opens back up for dine-in so me and my husband can dine in.

I ordered the shrimp quesadilla with potato wedges and they're amazing! I didn't eat it til 20 mins after i ordered it bc of delivery but it didn't get gross or soggy and it was still hot. 10/10 will be ordering again
Ordered for the first time for delivery. The food was amazing and hot. We had the wings, quesadilla, and wedges and they were sooo good! Can’t wait to dine in when things are open again.
