I ordered the salmon poke bowl with yellowtail. I had a salad base with cucumbers, hijiki seaweed, Masato, seaweed salad & spicy mayo. Flavors were there, and I wanted more. Only thing is the lack of protein. It's a small scoop.

This place is soooo good! And an easy walk from my house in Jackson Ward. It’s like a Subway style poke place where it’s made right in front of you. The price is right and the ingredients are very fresh. I like the create your own with so many options to choose from.
Dope, clean sushi bowl experience... But I'm worried about longevity, it's pricey for a lunch joint. Come for a filling, upper crust gnosh, not for budget grub. Oh, and their fancy water machine infuses subtle cucumber and lemon flavor into the water, so be ready for that.
jacob lawrence is tripping. this place is good. James is great and the rest of the staff is great. high quality fish is expensive and if it was cheap you would not want to eat here. the price is reasonable (15-17) and you get fresh ingredients and good sauces.
Delicious bowl, though not sure it can be called sushi since even when I asked for nori I only got a sprinkle. Clean and freindly.
Just want to shout out this great staff - my Uber Eats order was delivered and while walking back to my office my bag broke and the food unfortunately scattered across the sidewalk. I called to say I was ordering again (in case they thought it may be a duplicate order) and told them of my unfortunate circumstance haha.

My wife and I got bowls here right before they were going to close, and the staff were still very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, they had forgotten to give us a drink and a protein item for one of our bowls which we didn't notice until we were already back at our hotel. When I called them, they offered to make it right the next time we came in and they were absolutely true to their word. The same gentleman I spoke to on the phone made us a complimentary drink, and was very accommodating and apologetic the next time we came in. This place is doing it right, the staff are well trained, the ingredients are fresh, and all of the calorie information is listed.
Absolutely great food! Love the poke bowls and I don't see many of them around. If you've never had it I suggest you try it. If you like sushi them I very strongly suggest you try these bowls. They're fantastic and from what I understand they're healthy
Wow! Really love this place. Fresh fish and is very tasty. Would recommend to anyone who like sushi and seafood!. The dining area is clean as well and the staff are very friendly. Its also very close and accessible to VCU campus. So its extremely easy for students who want to grab a quick bite!
Chose this place for a last minute Plan B dinner and was not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their food. They were extremely helpful and patient. There was a large variety of choices to pick from and the portions were generous. The food had great quality and was delicious! I will definitely be back when I’m craving sushi but don’t want to spend a lot.
