This is now my favorite pho place in town. The pho broth is awesome and the meat is quality so far. I haven't had anything else yet but will. I see the plates come out and they look great! It's family owned and they are nice. Including the staff. The place is clean and they were redoing the parking lot when I was last there. Pretty crazy my favorite pho place are all right next to each other. I appreciate listening to the vernacular music as well. Give my review a thumbs up if you agree.. cheers

I have been twice now and enjoyed everything I’ve had - the spring rolls are large and fresh, the Grilled Shrimp vermicelli delicious (be warned: shells and tails on), and the steamed rice with pork loin, shredded pork skin, and pork cake was also yummy - especially the pork loin. The spices were wonderful and it just fell apart. The iced coffee with condensed milk is pretty standard - that is to say, good! My roommate enjoyed his Taro bubble tea. And we had a piece of cheesecake for dessert which was nice (not entirely sure it was made in house though). We also tried the pho and the first time, it was a very clean and light broth, like no other pho we’d had. The second time it was richer and more spiced. Both were tasty and I love that it changes - tells me it’s made fresh!

My wife and I ate here last Friday night. I always scope the place out when we arrive to see who is eating there. A large family of Vietnamese had just finished eating when we arrived and they looked happy, good sign since they are really in tune with what makes a good meal. We have been eating Vietnamese food for many years and have visited almost every restaurant in Richmond that serves it. We had noticed that Saigon Cafe & Pho had opened and decided to give it a try. Wow, it was fantastic. I had the pork chops with rice, veggies and 2 fried eggs, Outstanding! They give you a side bowl of the Pho broth to "slurp" with it and it really adds to the meal. The wife had her normal cold noodle with shrimp. Excellent! The service was great, prices reasonable. What more could you ask for. This will be our "go to" joint from now on! Visit them and give them a try. I think you'll agree.

Came here because my normal pho place is closed on Wednesday’s and was pleasantly surprised. It was super clean and the staff was very nice. I often find it hard to find pho places with vegetarian broth, but they did indeed offer it! I did feel as though the broth could use some more flavor, but it was good. I also ordered spring rolls, which are normally made with pork, but they accommodated my diet and made it fresh without the pork! Got a ton of tofu and veggies and everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. Will be back!

Quality meat! Had the pho tai today and it did not disappoint. The quality of beef they used for the meat is phenomenal. Very soft and tender, not tough and chewy like other places. Restaurant tables and utensils are clean and service was fast. Will be back again to try other dishes with the family!

***My old review when they first opened is below, but i am updating this from 4 to 5 stars as it’s now my go-to pho spot in RVA. The soup gets better everytime i go and the fans are a game-changer....soup sweats are a thing of the past. Also, the staff is super friendly and you can tell they want to be the #1 pho spot in the city.*** (Original review from their opening week starts here) Soup was very good. Al dente noodles, very tender slices of beef, broth had alot of umami flavor and was slightly sweet while also being very savory. Fresh thai basil and culantro and the jalapenos were nice and hot. Got a coconut smoothie as well and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place and i’ll be coming back for sure.

Friendly, helpful service and wonderful food with amazing flavor combinations. I had a steamed rice dish with pork, beef and chicken that was immaculately cooked and exploding with flavor—the sweeten fish sauce was wonderful. Will definitely be back.

We've been several times already since they opened! The staff is always friendly, the food tastes great and I think the prices are very reasonable. It's our go to spot for Pho in Richmond.

I have tried four other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, and this one has the best food (in regard to flavor) by far. The environment is decent, and the owner is also really cool.
