We had to wait for the food but it was fresh and hot.
A great place to stop to pick up a quick meal.
The employees are friendly and the food is good. In fact, as far as the quality of food goes, they are probably the best KFC in the area. My only complaint is the speed of service. There is always a wait for something. Today it was a 10 minute wait for chicken. Last time I went I had to wait for biscuits. Don't come here, if you're in a hurry.

We like the Hot Wings and the mac & cheese. I usually go through the drive-thru, place my order, PAY FOR MY ORDER, get my receipt, and tell the cashier I'll be back to pick it up when it's done because we normally order the 24 piece hot wings. I go run another errand and then come back and pick it up. No problems. Now KFC does have an app you can order through, but I wouldn't trust using that at this location. Read the below and pay close attention...

▪︎ DON'T get mad if you place a large order at the drive-thru and expect it to be done when you get to the window to pay for it. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!
▪︎ DON'T go inside and expect to get faster service. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!
▪︎ DON'T expect to order through the KFC app at this location and think it's going to be right. You don't live in a tech driven location like Northern, Virginia. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
If you DON'T follow my instructions for ordering food from this location, then you just like being mad, waiting in line, and fussing and cussing because you have been WARNED ⚠️.
Even though they never have already prepared hot wings so I always have to wait the 1 minutes which really is always 15-20 minutes for whatever reason, we order them a lot.... i still love the hot wings. Especially since they are always hot and fresh for the above reasons.
I've been to this establishment twice this year and each time customer service was great. Friendly and professional. The food was good and hot and ready in a reasonable amount of time. I would come back here to eat again with or without friends and family. Keep up the good work.
I arrived at this KFC late night just before they closed and ordered a $5 2 piece leg & thigh original box. I asked to replace the mash potatoes with potatoe wedges & the young lady at the drive-thru window told me they didn't have any wedges left and they were in the process of shutting things down but if I gave her 10 minutes she could have some ready for me, I pulled over, and 10 minutes later she bought my food out, and everything was still hot when I got it home & really good except my biscuit but that's just because I'm not to fond of KFC biscuit's. The service I received this night was amazing and is worth every star.
Best experience I've ever had with a fast food restaurant. The staff was super friendly and happy. I will continue to pass by the KFC located at 7091 Mechanicsville Turnpike to get the best service. Thank you to the whole crew!
Original recipe has always been the bomb but they have dropped the ball on the sides over the years. Where the hell are the baked beans that they used to sell they were awesome
Food was hot & fresh . Good portions as well. Drive thru was quick. I gave 4 stars only because the young lady at the drive thru had a little attitude. But over all good!!
