Right off Main St, this sushi spot was a delightful little treat for our Friday afternoon.
My fiancé and I were looking for a quick place to eat sushi and we LOVE sushi so we decided to stop at Miyabi after doing a quick Google search. When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. It was around 4pm on a Friday and they place was empty but the chefs were all busy making sushi rolls. I guess they had a lot of to-go orders which is understandable being in a college town. Like I said before, I liked the ambiance of the place and we sat up front by the window which gave us a great view of the street life.
Our server was very attentive and friendly.
We ordered the crab rangoon which came out hot, the perfect temperature! I forgot how much I liked crab rangoon but theses helped me remember. They were so delicious. I also order the chicken fried rice for my daughter and tried it myself and I wanted to eat all her food, it was so good. The sauce was some of the best fried rice sauce I've ever had. We also ordered 3 sushi rolls but I dont remember the names. I just know they were #s 28, 29, and 32 on the menu. They all taste very fresh which is important with sushi.
Since we ordered $50 worth of food, they gave us a Chef's sushi roll for free!! I loved that!
Overall, the next time I come to Richmond and want sushi, I would come here!
The inside of the restaurant is decorated so nicely and has a warm fun atmosphere! I ordered take out but decided to eat inside after being greeted by a friendly staff and seeing the interior. I ordered the spicy crabmeat roll and their Victorias Secret speciality roll. Both looked and tasted amazing! I will definitely be coming back with friends to try out the rest of their menu. Definitely recommend
Stop by for a takeout last night, everything was very very yummy, also we ordered the sashimi for 2, the fish was very fresh, price is reasonable, can’t wait to come back to dine in sometime.

My daughter and I are trying to check out every sushi place that we can! Located downtown Richmond, you might have to drive around to find parking, but there are a few pay to park lots not too far. When we entered, we were greeted by a very friendly hostess who sat us in a cool little area that's a couple steps up over everything else. My daughter and I first noticed the decor of the place, which is very cute and authentic. We ordered a beef Negimaki, a little steak roll appetizer, a rainbow roll, and Victoria's Secret roll. It wasn't overly busy when we came in, I actually think we were the only people in there for 10 or 15 minutes, and then others started to shuffle in. The beef Negimaki came pretty quick, and by the time we finish that our main rolls were up. We thought the size of the rolls we're really quite large. The presentation and coloring were fantastic! Both rolls were nice and fresh and so very tasty! They filled both of us up. Our waitress was super nice and always around when we needed her. I would highly recommend giving Miyabi a try. Plus, their logo is absolutely adorable.
I have eaten lunch multiple times in the past and have loved the food here!! Last night my boyfriend and I had the gyoza appetizer and beef curry for our entrees. It was SO GOOD!!! The employees are always very nice, and the restaurant is always clean and very inviting. Definitely try them if you have not yet!
Best sushi I’ve had in Richmond so far. Not real busy for a late Saturday lunch. Service was mostly friendly but our waitress seemed slightly annoyed the whole time. Food was great! My favorite thing I got was the Coconut Shrimp Roll. Also tried the veggie tempura which was delicious, and the clear soup, which was the most not-clear clear soup I’ve ever had, but boy was it good! Only complaint was no fountain soda, cans only, but I can’t wait to come back!
Wow, some of the best fried rice I've ever had! Will definitely be coming back. Can't speak to delivery or to go, but dine-in was wonderful, atmosphere and staff are great, and food was worth the money. Miso soup was so warm and the food in the bento was plentiful!
Upon entering the restaurant, the property was clean and guest wasn’t standing outside. I was greeted immediately after entering the building. The atmosphere and vibe was very nice for a Saturday evening. My order was taken by the waitress several moments after I arrived. However, the waitress didn’t have great people skills at all. She was unruly when I asked about an item on the menu. I would return but I would not accept that particular waitress again.
I thought the Sushi and Sashimi combo was a little smaller than expected.
The girl who took my order was a little blunt and didn't help much. But thank you anyway.

If you're lucky, you will park in front of the restaurant for free. Otherwise, there are parks in the alley.
The food tasted well. And the atmosphere is nice and lovely on a cold night.
Lovely spot! The food was amazing and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a great place for lunch. They had a special going that if our total bill was >$50 we received a free chefs special roll.
