Best pizza in the area. I'm from the Northeast and admittedly a pizza snob. I work nearby but live south of the river and I go out of my way to pick up pizza from Pizza Express to take home because it is that good!
The service was amazing and the food is wonderful, definitely worth 10 stars but I could only do 5 😊
I wish the inside was a little bigger, but the pizza is great. Coming from the North, the pizza in Virginia is mostly awful. The pizza at this place is the best I've had since we've moved to Richmond. The sauce had good flavor. The crust was nicely well done. The cheese quality was good. The basil tasted fresh. And they do loose slices which apparently nobody else in Virginia does
Pizza Express is simply the best. Sometimes i order delivery or pick up myself and I'm never disappointed. They provide fantastic portions and have quality ingredients. The chicken wings are so delicious/crispy and I cannot resist their flavorful pizza. Try them before any large commercial pizza chain!
PizzaExpress is one of my favorites since around 2013. The only pizza I will eat cold. The serving sizes are huge. Cheri is my favorite delivery driver! To the point they were out of a soda I ordered she stopped at a store and got me the soda and still delivered quick. Cheri and Bossman know me well! Recommend you guys to everyone!
I just love this place!! We order at least twice a month! Pizza is New York level. Everything is good!! This is my go to spot!!!
Being from up north, the pizza in Richmodn has sucked since we moved here. There's only two places we will get pizza, and this is one of them. Definitely recommend!

Had Italian and pepperoni pizza slice and coke. The pizza was great and the Italian sausage had been sliced Italian sausage instead of chain pizza sausage. Great service and for the price, great pizza.
Although supposed to be take out or delivery, seating was comfortable for eat in.
Definitely THE BEST pizza in town. Reminds me of the pizza I used to order in New York. The pepperoni pizza is to die for. My next order is going to be Supreme I bet it's going to be out if this world. Do not forget the staff, they are friendly and helpful.

Unsuspecting name. Best bang for your buck! Cost, quality, and speed. We have eaten pizza around the world and this ranks high, tie for a medal in our books!
Sorry, no photos. The Large prosciutto/spinach/parm and Large pepperoni/basil/garlic barely made it out of the car!

Pizza Express is our go to place for pizza, calzones and subs. However, their pastas are TRASH!! On two separate occasions my husband and I each ordered different pasta dishes (4 total). Each time they arrived with the sauces spilled out all in the bag leaving the pasta dish itself dry. I am assuming their sauces must be delicious because their pasta itself is bland. The toppings too. The sauce itself is very thin and watery and we've tried both red sauce and specialty sauces (marsala and piccata). Their pizza and sub game is ON POINT. I would recommend those options without hesitation. Just steer clear of the pasta dishes to avoid disappointment. Their appetizer game is FIRE!! Highly recommend the pierogi, soooo good!!
