Wonderful lunch today! Stopped by after a Historic Garden Week tour because we noticed that this place was an event sponsor. Beautiful dining room with all of the gorgeous art. Our server behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Even though she was busy, our order came out quickly. Delicious tuna melt. Planning to come back to try breakfast!
I was visit my parents and walked through our neighborhood to get some local coffee and breakfast on a Sunday morning. While I couldn’t sit/order inside because of the dogs, the barista was more than accommodating to take my order from their outdoor seating and bring me my food and drink. I don’t think it was on the menu but I ordered and espresso soda (espresso, club soda, vanilla syrup) and the barista was once again very accommodating and made it no problem. It was super good! I also ordered an egg and cheese on an English muffin which was delicious. Seemed like white cheddar and a soft fried egg. Would highly recommend this local place! I also appreciated how early they were open on a Sunday morning. I paid about $11 before tipping.
Took my girls (4,2,11mo) here for a special little “holiday brunch” here and they all had fun/felt fancy and ate their tuna melts! Win!

The level of foods is supreme. I would say it's even better than some upscale restaurants. The price is appropriate, well suit their foods. Coffee is a great plus. I am surprised they are so damn good, with so much reasonable price than any places close by. Service is nice. I felt welcome here.
When I looked around, I watched the sheep on the wall. I felt I am in love.
The Boykin steak sandwich was fabulous. Wine & coffee options available. You will love this spot to dine with friends & family!

I really impressed by this cafe, food and drink were fresh and delicious .The service was excellent. It’s unique in this area. One more thing it’s sooo clean indoor, so don’t expect to be bothered by bad smell as other places
Favorite coffee shop in RVA. It’s beach theme is so welcoming and you feel like you are on vacation. Lots of spots for plugging in your computer too, so if you are working from home and need a change of scenery and good coffee, this is the place!
Excellent coffee and cortados. I'm anxious to go back and sample the menu. There are a few outdoor tables.
Went here for lunch during the week. Service was quick and staff was pleasant. We had roykin sandwiches which were toasty and tasty. The atmosphere was a little bougie for me but it was pleasantly sunny inside. Would definitely go again for fancy coffee or a first date
