I've been several times and the food and staff are always on point. I recently went and was seated upstairs (first time). It was such a cozy little getaway I didn't even know existed. The waiter was super friendly. The pumpkin curry was delicious!
My go to place every time I am in Richmond for anything. I would recommend Mom's Siam to anyone & everyone.
Delicious Thai spot that some friends and I could smell while passing by on the other side of the street. Had to stop in for lunch and were all pleased with the more than fairly priced, quality Thai food.
It was mostly empty, with most food seeming to go out via delivery order, but the staff on-site were very friendly. Bathroom was also quite nice and large.
Definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for good Thai options.
I always love coming here! Stopped by with 2 friends of mine and we had the perfect evening. Everything was phenomenal! I had the Pineapple Fried Rice with Salmon and I honestly don’t think I’ve had a better dish from this place to date. Service from Robert was a delight. His humor was brilliant and he was on top of everything so swiftly. Drinks were amazing as well. 10/10 as always, already can’t wait to come back.
I always get the green curry with chicken. It's loaded with fresh vegetables and it's delicious! The portion is large and I usually take some home. I ask for it to be gluten free, and I feel safe eating here with my dietary restriction. This is the best Thai place I've been to in Richmond
Great food-good spice levels-friendly staff. Stopped in for appetizers-loved the papaya salad and the dumplings. Will be back for more food next time I’m in the area.
Only negative-a little dirty-floor and tables were sticky-didn’t seem to be the cleanest place.
Been here four times now, and every time the food has been excellent! Best Thai food I’ve had in Richmond so far. Only reason I’m not giving it five stars is there is occasionally an odd bathroom-like stench coming from the front. And one time we came here and our table was weirdly sticky. I’ll be back for the food, but I think the atmosphere could use a little TLC.
Update 2024/12/26
Menu seemed very different from the last time I was there. Drunken noodles and Ton Kai and Thai tea were delicious. The people who worked there were excellent and nice. The restrooms were big and clean. My two yo and I had a great lunch there.
Ori.
The food was tasty. Tomkha soup, tomyum soup, pad prik, and green curry were yum. The staffs were very friendly. Good experience overall!
This one has it all, all the richmond vibes. The food is amazing and the service was top notch. The craft cocktails were legit as they come, down to the ice. Spice levels are accurate. Kao Soi Kai...yeah the fried noodles and curry is off the charts good, almost like a massaman curry but with crunch in every bite. Everyone had a great dish.
This place was so good. I was very surprised at the high quality of the bar. While I didn’t partake in any alcoholic beverages, the ones my friends had looked really good. The Thai tea is also a must have.
Thai restaurant with a great location on Carytown Street. They have an outdoor patio which is great to sit down on on warm sunny days. The food menu is pretty extensive and the quality is good. The only issue I had during this visit was the food was relatively cold. Although we were there and they weren't busy service was on-point.
I normally order from Elephant Thai. Ubereats CANCELLED my orde tonight due to w/e discrepancies. I'm sooooo happy because I tasted your drunken noodle which I requested to be super duper hot and yall exceeded my expectations!!! I will be back! Tomorrow in fact! Thank youuuu
