The single greatest restaurant on the planet. All other eateries are lucky City Diner continues to allow them to exist. Chuck Norris eats exclusively at City Diner, wo it he would die.
I almost flipped the booth (which is bolted to the ground) when I realized how many different choices of jam I got to pick from, that’s the high life. My only regret is not asking my wife to marry we there. Went w some stupid winery, huge mistake......
Needed a breaskfast spot and came upon this place. There was a bit of a wait time considering they were busy and the place isn’t that big. The food came out very quickly once order was placed. Large portions and good reasonable prices. Food was just OK nothing special.
When I tell you this place is GOOOD believe me lol , never have I ever had my food served so HOT , everything was perfect temperature. The chicken country fried steak with gravy amazing! French toast is a large portion! The $8 mimosa delicious. The waitress very friendly , I loved the idea it was a mixed crowd - different age groups old and young mixture races just seemed like a happy place to be …Definitely give this place a try I’m sure it can get pretty crowded after a certain

Quick and friendly service. Delicious food. A little loud but it's a busy diner.
Spent the night in a Richmond hotel, stopped here for breakfast this morning.
It's a super cool little joint, with great service and the whole line of cooks were working fast trying to keep up to all the orders.
It was obvious that they had a lot of regulars in addition to folks like me that just happened upon the place.
I had the biscuits and gravy.
They were delicious!!!

This place was busy, but was served almost immediately. Food portions were very generous. Feeling quite stuffed. Eggs cooked perfectly and yummy pancakes. Definitely be back here.
Friday morning breakfast was a delight here. I can't tell you our 2 waitress names because they was so welcoming and it felt like home with lots of chatter, music playing todays hits. The food was so good and honestly I've read reviews about the portion sizes not being enough. Mine was more then enough - that I had to take some home. The prices was excellent and the taste was delicious. We will be returning.
The food and portion size were good. The staff was cheerful and fast. I did not wait long for my meal. This City Diner was great for a fast basic breakfast. And the music was awesome.
This place is amazing. Staff was nice. Food is amazing. The mighty mosa was everything. First time here and this is my go to place now. I left so happy
First time there and had lunch. My grilled ham & ch on Texas toast was pretty good. Fries and tea was good. All the other dishes seen being served looked yummy. Music is very loud. Older gentleman cooking needs to change gloves more often.
We have tried the sausage gravy with biscuits, the chicken strips, Philly cheese steak, and fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious, we have never been disappointed, the wait staff and friendly and attentive. This is our favorite go to spot, for breakfast or lunch, our kids love the pancakes, sandwiches and we will continue to visit them. Hidden Gem, Just go visit them!!
